The Elder Scrolls: Dawn's Beauty
Where were you when you heard it?
Were you close enough to see the tower fall?
Did you hear the crumbling echo?
Or did you hear about it from word of mouth?
It has been five years since the Dovahkiin allegedly traveled to Sovngarde and banished Alduin from this world once and for all. Or so they claim. Few knew about the Dovahkiin's mission, but Alduin has not been sighted since. It is assumed to be the truth. In that time, the civil war in Skyrim has taken a turn for the bloodier. Aided by various people of incredible skills, forts have been captured and recaptured. Who has control of a hold is never constant; only the red stained waters and snow serve as a consistent reminder of the permanency of the war. Broken homes and orphaned children liter the streets of Solitude and Windhelm. There is currently no end in sight.
During these five years, there have been various strives by different factions in Skyrim and Tamriel as a whole:
The Dawnguard has recently revived in an old fort near Riften. Attacks on the Vigilants of Stendarr have driven them to seek their aid. They are looking for help from sell swords and adventurers to put down a vampire menace.
The Thieves Guild has gained increased presence throughout all of Skyrim and has even been bolstered in other parts of Tamriel. Rumors say this is thanks to the wealth generated by a paragon restored by the new guild leader. Using this wealth for bribes and recruitment, the thieves guild has gained the largest network of moles and informants in Skyrim. Information has become a powerful and valuable resource, and is becoming the life blood of the guild every bit as much as jewels.
The Dark Brotherhood is on the rise after their successful assassination of Emperor Titus Mede II. With a Listener next to the Night Mother, the Brotherhood has begun to recruit. With contracts being fulfilled, the Brotherhood is restoring both its numbers and its honor. While still rare outside Skyrim, assassinations in The Black Marsh and Alinor have informed Tamriel that no one is outside their reach any longer.
But today is not about events in that war torn country of Skyrim. Today is about the Imperial City. Today is about the stars.
Just a few weeks ago, after surviving eras, the White-Gold Tower crumbled in a fiery explosion that blew debris through half of Cyrodiil. Half the citizens of the Elven Garden district died when the tower collapsed through their homes or in the following explosions. A terrible and troubling blow to the Empire and all of Tamriel. No one is sure quite how it happened: Without anyone being seen, it was as if a hundred explosions at key points in the structure destabilized the building. No perpetrator was found. While most mourn the loss of the ancient symbol of the of both man and mer, mages at various universities have become far more concerned with the strange event that happened just afterwards:
The Tower faded from the sky.
Alrighty, short background of events, but it gets the job done.
Just looking for interest here. The starting idea will be that you are the five 'heroes' of Skyrim, continuing with your lives after the various events. For the purpose of this story, the Arch Mage of the College, The Harbringer of the Champions, The Nightingale, The Listener, and the Dovahkiin are five different people. The Civil War has not been resolved. Events of Dawnguard has not yet happened. The Brotherhood starting to re-establish its old power, the Thieves guild reveling in the loot, what the Arch-Mage is researching, who the Harbringer is fighting, and finally, whatever the hell the Dovahkiin wants to do with their time.
The thread will be a long one, and require five different players, and only five. You will be considered to have the full resources of your group under your control, to the degree allowed by your group. (Absolute loyalty is expected of the Dark Brotherhood, but the College, Companions, and Thieves guilds are all relatively independent.)

I don't know why I'm the first one to respond to this, but...
Yes yes! I'm certainly very interested, it's not often you see an Elder Scrolls RP in which you hold such a high position. And the little bit of plot you've given has already got me hooked.
Definitely keeping my eye on this one.
This has definitely got my full interest! I'd love to apply for the Listener if the spot hasn't already been taken?
Anyways, I'll be keeping a very keen eye on this rp for sure.
Infected By Devils
Three is a lucky number. Interested.
*pokes at opportunity of being one of the Nightingale or Arch-Mage*
Pimpin' ain't easy
Totally interested, unless there are already enough folks!
p.s. don't think we can actually reserve spots, but certainly interested in the Nightingale spot.
this RP interests me, but unfortunately, the only bit of elder scrolls lore and what have you that I have, is from morrowind!. let me know if I can fit into this RP ok? thanks.
on second thought, maybe I'll just read it for now unless you want to sneak me in as a minor less important character of some kind.

Wow. I stopped checking cause it went several days without interest. I will start writing things up. (Can't believe no one wanted Dovahkiin. Figured I would have to beat people off that one with a stick.)

They're overdone really.
Anyway, just so everyone knows, a friend of mine (who can't get online atm) has expressed interest in being the Harbinger of The Companions, etc.
*hopefully everyone's still here, or I'll have to multichar, mwahahahahah*
