I'm main offensive. He's supportive offensive. that leaves: Defense (Guns - Kusarigama - Staff - ETC anything that keeps people at bay and or far away. These guys will be guarding our flag and will be our last line of defense if someone beats through both of the main offensive guys) - Defense Backup - Kei User (Have their own weapons that release Rose Pedals and they can sense traps, dangerous conditions, etc they are the Detect _____ mage of the team). If you have any other sugguestions for a position go ahead.

I'll also allow a support mechanic but he or she would do next to no fighting if at all.

I think we could use the defensive sniper I think since Knight is going duel pistols only. That leaves the Kei user before I can officially start this and pick up anyone as we go along. Bumblebee can play the Kei user or the defensive main since you would be more of her back up than anything.

I think I'll go with defensive main. What kind of guns would be best suited to that? Female character alright?
Yeah Nina (The leader) was a badass in her own right. Defensive wise....rapid fire ones like pistol would be the best but I would also get a melee weapon too like a baton set.

Both, or should I just choose one? Is mid range weaponry better, or short range?
You can pick both but you should specialize in one over the other. Mid range to long range is best but they will be running towards you so you would need some up close defense.

How about a knife and gun combination, like a combat knife attachment from cod? The knife and small pistol are good for close range, and having a pistol gives the user a good mid range attack.
A knife because unlike in our world DITE does not work like that. They are seperate objects and can't be attached to my knowledge. It would be a bit limiting for defense a better choice would be a black or iron short sword or baton but it would work with a dagger.

Also I can't make heads or tails if this is a guy or girl. Figure this is a good sniper for the group
