Personality: Durin is serious fellow. While he doesn't see things in an optimistic light, neither does he see things in a pessimistic light. Those who know him have never seen him smile, much less laugh. Around people. Those who have managed to spy him with his Tamed beast see him cheerfully chatting to them, smiling, and caring for them. It is a conundrum that confuses most who see it.
Class: Dwarf Beast Tamer.
Equipment: His armor seen in appearance is cleverly made by dwarven hands. Light, yet durable and protective. And the hammer.
History: Durin was born to be a Beast Tamer. This he knew at the very deepest part of his being, like birds know how to migrate, or Griffin's know how to fly. It was in his blood, he felt. And he began pursuing that calling as soon as he was able, learning with an eagerness few possessed, or at least could keep up for the entire time it takes to become a fully fledged Tamer. He learned about Trition's many and varied beasts. Grew to respect, admire, even love, them all. His first beast tamed was a young griffin. He tamed it and it became his first 'love' if you will.
Currently, Sarlen as the male griffin was named, is fully grown. But Sarlen is not the only beast Durin has tamed. He has two other fantastical creatures of note. The first being a male Cyclops. Not yet fully grown, Sid, as the Cyclops was named, stands at 13 feet tall, and is still growing. Sid follows Durin's commands as a loyal dog would, and is simplistic. He likes his Shinies, and doesn't like being treated unkindly. Simple.
The other creature of note is far more rarer as a Tamed Beast than others. A female Chimera by the name of Molly. Molly was raised from a young age by Durin, and as such, is far less 'fiendish' than others of her species. Though, that in no way means she's innocent. Three minds mean three different plans, and emotions. She is about the size of a Great Dane right now, and enjoys playing tricks on people. She doesn't eat or harm them, just enjoys playing tricks.
Durin didn't always used to be so serious around people, but an event involving him, someone else, and one of his Beasts left him grim and slightly suspicious of people in general.
FINISHED! I left it purposely vague on the Griffin, as nothing is up yet, and on the Cyclop's height.
