Misfits: Next Generation (OOC)

To explain it in short detail, Misfits is a British TV series is about 4-5 young people doing community service, seems simple enough. Yet the group have powers that were caused from a supernatural thunder storm which varies to the person. Such powers that are used are telepathy, able to rewind time, become invisible, create a duplicate and so on. During the whole time they have to hide their powers from others outside the group while dealing with everyday life. Not to go into much detail the group of Misfits have murdered several people, dealt with several people with powers, dealt with problems in their personal lives and so on. For various reasons I have not brought up any of the plots as someone may want to watch the show later.

Now to the point:

It is seven years later and all the current Misfits have finished their community service though only Rudy has stayed behind. Thinking him to be like a mentor he will show the new Misfits what life is really like when doing community service. Like the first set of Misfits the group knows nothing of their fellow community workers who each have secrets and problems that will eventually be resolved or possibly prolonged. Having to do their community service and avoiding getting on the good side of the probation worker who themselves is not entirely known as they are new as well.

In a way this is like a slice of life RP yet has things that break any normal slice of life like RP’s. The idea is to get you to create subplots for your character to expand upon them and to keep it fresh which is ideal. Mainly the plot is for the Misfits to serve their sentence so they can move on yet things will happen keeping them doing community service or end up doing it again after finishing it. Addition to that they have to deal with the new probation worker who has something dark they are hiding which is up to the person who plays them if they want to play them.

First come first serve for the role of the probation worker and only 5-6 people can join at one time. People can come and leave though need to write them out well before leaving. Also a spot for Co-GM is open as I can’t check all the time and you have power, just not too much power. All you can do is accept CS’s, message players and so on, just don’t abuse it or I will replace you with someone else yet won’t kick you out of the RP. What I say overrules my CO-GM’s choices if I disagree with them.

1st: No God Modding
2nd: Keep fights out of the OOC and deal with them like adults
3rd: No speed posting unless it has been halted for 24 hours
4th: Swearing is allowed, if you get offended easily then you may have to leave
5th: If you in a relationship you can only imply you had sex unless you go to PM.
6th: Every needs to think of something to subplot to develop your character though can come to me if you need help or discuss an idea but not go into much detail.

Power: Manipulates fire but cant conjure it, she keeps a lighter with her always.
Reason for Being on Probation: She threw a fire bomb (Bottle of alcohol with a tissue stuffed and lit on fire) into someones house to burn it down. The bottle didn't explode, and the only thing she managed to do was break a window. But her failure to co-operate under the influence landed her in probation.
Personality: Highly outspoken and opinionated. She doesn't go looking for trouble, but it always finds her. She couldn't care less what happens to the world or to the people around her, one way or another, we're all going to hell. Might as well just sit back and watch the world burn.
Bio: Skitter grew up in a broken home with an unstable family and a screwed up childhood. She was no exception to the average underpaid, overlooked inhabitants of the community so she grew up accepting the fact that she was going down and no one would even know her name. Of course as a kid she craved attention, yearned for the childhood she'd been dreaming of her whole life. But primary school showed her which end of the sandbox she had to sit. And high school made sure she kept her head low and her expectations lower. But one girl always went out of her way to start something with Skitter. One girl who couldn't leave Skitter and her group alone. It was her house they'd tried to burn down that night. Skitter had volunteered.
Skitter loves fire. She finds it the purest form of destruction. She doesn't smoke or drink excessively and only does drugs on occasion which is contrary to what you would think. She isn't personally self destructive and isn't self-hating. She is angry at society and the world around her, and she finds pleasure in seeing people get what they deserve.

Extra: Very much hoping for someone with an opposing view to challenge Skitter, I definitely am planning on building on this character and having her slowly want to use her powers for good.

Power: Technopathy but she can only mentally cause an interference of technology. She is unable to interact mentally with it.
Reason for Being on Probation: She was caught shoplifting. Although she was able to interfere with the recording of security cameras, she was caught redhanded stealing a pair of diamond earrings by a security guard posing as a shopper. This time her father refused to pay her way out of probation saying that maybe it would teach her to take some responsibility for her actions.
Personality: Shy at first Rachelle is usually seen as a bitch, and doesn't make very many true friends. However after a few days she comes out of her shell. She really is a nice person, very street smart, and a bit of a geek though you wouldn't know it from her friends.
Bio: Rachelle's mother died when she was only seven of an overdose, while her father was away on business. He remarried only four weeks after to his mistress, whenever asked why he married again so soon he would say "someone has to watch my daughter I'm far to busy". Rachelle came to understand that to him she was more of a pon then a daughter. Always known has the rich popular girl, most of Rachelle's friends only like her for her money. Unable to bring herself to make fun of others or do drugs like they do to hide their hurt, she took up shoplifting as a way of control her feelings.
