Circe smiled as Rawl signalled for Rustgear. They were here, one step closer to finding their target. She climbed of Rawl's back and waited for him to change back. He took place next to her and they started to head towards it. The distance had had to be judged carefully. If they were too close Rawl's form would have been seen. If they were too far he would change back before they could find somewhere to stay. Circe hoped they had got it right.

They reached the gates and Rawl knocked. Nobody answered for a moment. Then a voice came down to them.

"Who goes there?"

"Just to travelers." Circe called up. A young girl and a young boy, they couldn't look very threatening. Clearly the guards agreed and the gates swung open to reveal Rustgear. The person who had let them in stood just behind the gate. He appeared to be short man with a large rifle watching them as they entered. Circe headed towards him.

"Which way to the inn, or some form of accomodation?" She said. The man pointed off down a path between two houses.

"Just through there. It's next door to the pub."

Nodding she thanked him and headed off. It wasn't hard to find. Drunkards stumbling about were the universal sign for a pub. A few barged out as they passed, heading into Circes path. Rawl's instinct kicked in, his arm shoving the man off out the way before he could think about it. Circe smiled, it was nice having a body guard. Although they couldn't cause too much trouble. The inside of the inn was quiter than the street outside, no drunkards in here. With no one else to see her she removed her binding and aquired a room for free. They wasted no time going inside, Rawl transforming before she had closed the door.
