[High Casual to Advanced] Military themed RP

I am looking for those persons interested in military RPs. This RP can be based on an historical event, a current setting or some science fiction futuristic setting. If you are interested in military themes, please join me.

I am a veteran, but never served in a combat zone. I retired before most of the recent stuff got started. I did spend most of my time in the Infantry and understand small unit tactics fairly well. Check out my signature. I have also been reading books and articles on the subject of Military History for the past 38 years. This is a subject I enjoy reading and writing about. If you share my passion, please join me.

Here is an assortment of scenarios I am considering. Choose your preference.

1. Two soldiers in the same squad/fire team serving in a combat zone.
2. Two soldiers in a surveillance position observing some strategic target.
3. Two fighter pilots in a combat zone.
4. Two sailors who were part of a battle in which their ship sank and they are stranded at sea or on a deserted island.
5. Two soldiers in the same squad and occupying the same Defensive fighting position during a major attack.
6. Two squad leaders or platoon leaders.
7. Two veterans who either served in the same unit or at least knew one another somehow, came home from "the war", bought Harley Davidson Motorcycles and took the open road rather than settle down and make a life for themselves.
8. At the conclusion of a battle, a hilltop is covered by the dead and the soon to be dead. There are two soldiers from opposing sides left alive and are just waking up. They both received debilitating injuries that prevents them from walking or moving around with great speed. They can crawl and speak.
9. You are a reporter for some publication embedded with a military unit in a combat zone. I am the unit's commander you are writing about.

You choose the setting, time, and nationalities. You can be a M or an F. I'm open to females in combat even if some nations are not.

Aw man! I definitely wish I had the confidence/ knowledge to roleplay with you! I love history and learning about war-related things.
