I'm not alone in my chamber this year and I'm legalizing prostitution. My friend Isaiah is on his own in one chamber and he has this among the stack of bills he's dealing with. I'm dying of laughter.

A Resolution for the End of the World as We Know It
WHEREAS, The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has shown in the past to be woefully unprepared to handle catastrophic disaster; and
WHEREAS, Panic over news stories such as the Y2K threat and fears of a zombie attack exhibit the sensitivity the public has to the potential of mass destruction; and
WHEREAS, There is fear of an upcoming disaster centering around the end of Mayan Calendar; now, therefore,be it
RESOLVED, That the Congress here assembled urge the federal government to provide affordable training to civilians to alleviate fears and better prepare for a cataclysmic disaster; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the National Guard and Army Reserves also be trained to better deal with such disasters.
I think this is the best bill I have seen so far in my career as a debater. I wish I was in that chamber.
