Storyline is as follows!
The Amatsukami have cast out mighty Ryu (dragons) in a war among the heavens. As a result, the ancient land of Yamatai is in turmoil. Can you, brave Yamato (Or other race), born of Ryu soul, overcome them for our native land?

Yeah. Basically, a Civil War between the Sohei (Warrior Monks), the Emperor AND a great Warlord has erupted all across Yamatai. In addition, dragons are about to go roaming all across Yamatai. (They haven't started to yet).

The Sohei are protesting the Emperor's order to destroy their temples, the Emperor is attempting to uphold the order of the Empire before it succumbs to conquest by it's neighbor, Zhong, and the Lord Boshi Nara holds that the Emperor is against the ways of Progress and Industry. Currently the Sohei hold Lord Boshi in contempt for his war crimes against them when he was still loyal to the Emperor.

Currently, Zhong, an Empire to the West and across the Ocean, is powerful enough to conquer Yamatai, and just like in Skyrim there is a treaty preventing another powerful entity from declaring war against Zhong. Unlike in Skyrim, the Zhong don't necessarily need Yamatai as a vassal state.

I hate to sound strict or something like that, but... This seems a tad pointless... xD
There was already a continent based on Japan/Asia. 'Akavir', where the Blades and all Dragons came from originally. There are no humans living there currently as they were all 'eaten' by the 'snake men', the Tsaesci. But in the past there were men living there. Their culture was assumed to be very much like the era of Samurai etc

While I was suspicious of that when seeing the katanas and reading a few things, I don't care.

See, it's not pointless because as long as Akaviri is in the past and doesn't make a come back, you can't play Elder Scrolls in Japan.

I'd be interested if it was just in known regions with known races (or set in Akavir's ancient history), but... You seem to be adding nations and races out of nowhere. *shrugs*

Oh, well, this isn't actually Elder Scrolls. That's why. It just basically takes some elements from Skyrim and that's where I got the title. Thanks though.
