    Death of a Monarch (ICheck)

    The Death of a Monarch

Welcome to The Imperial Jasmanian Empire...Our Great Emperor, Pu-Ling has fallen ill and passed on. Now the Imperial Senate struggles to find a new heir to the throne and factions throughout the empire are rising. In the native colony of Dunjal natives are hailing a mystery figure as their new 'Vox'. Within our very own cities the Zenrōkyō, a Radical-Left trade-union, has begun its ascent to popularity in the politics of the Empire as their leader Jackmier Karkaff declares 'The Death of the Empire and Rise of the Republic'. Now, as our empire faces its darkest hour. We see the effects of the death of a Monarch...

I was worried to post this in the OOC section with a Character Application due to the fact that this RP DOES have factions that I require people in from the start. So if I get enough people interested in being in a faction with a rank I will get a ranking system and applications set up and post the OOC (even though everything above this was the OOC).

In a country ruled by an autocracy, with a completely enslaved press, in a period of desperate political reaction in which even the tiniest outgrowth of political discontent and protest is persecuted, the theory of revolutionary Marxism suddenly forced its way into the censored literature before the government realised what had happened and the unwieldy army of censors and gendarmes discovered the new enemy and flung itself upon him.
