Lacey looked at Emerald and was relieved to hear that she was fine. "He was in one of the coffins that Klaus had. He had daggered him, I figure this will stir up a bit of fun." she said, and she sat at the table. "I'm just glad you're okay, really, truly. I just hope that Elijah won't stab us in the back, Damon mentioned something about him doing it to them." she closed her eyes, but she couldn't bring herself to believe that Elijah would do that to them. She could remember when he tasked them with protecting Elena... He had others before them that he could have trusted, but he chose the two of them.
She rubbed her eyes and stood up, "I'm going to shower, change, and get ready for bed and wake up and come up with a better plan." she said to her, and she placed a kiss on her sister's forehead. "I love you."

Klaus was baffled for a long time as he and Elijah sat and discussed things that needed to be discussed. It was almost cruel how he had just showed up when he had been daggered. Now he knew for certain that Stefan wasn't in this alone, there was someone else, equally as crazy and impulsive as he was for this stunt, helping him. It made him wonder who. He knew that Elijah had betrayed them all, and all of the impulsive people he knew of were accounted for the entire time. This was really confusing. "So, let me get this straight... You killed our mother, not Mikael, and you've killed Mikael. Why isn't our family reunited then?" he asked, and Klaus sighed.
"Stefan Salvatore and another person stole them from me, and as for Rebekah, I have no idea where she is, but I know how to get answers." he assured his brother who fixated him with a frown.
"Violence, I'm assuming. Why not just try another method, like civility?" Elijah inquired. "A sit down? I don't know, perhaps there's a deal to be struck. Maybe not with Stefan, but with the other said person." he suggested and Klaus looked over.
"You know who it is?" he asked.
"Of course I know, but I won't tell because I know you, Niklaus. Stefan wouldn't have undaggered me, nor would he have allowed me out of his sight. He doesn't trust me after the sacrifice, and you know it." he said, and he sighed. "Just think about it, Niklaus."
