Scarlett was surprised by how excited her friend was. Truthfully she was herself but was also a little shy about doing it. The whole no thing was intimidating since they were seasoned wrestlers, had been there forever, and they were about to get asked by two newbies to be on their team. Who in their right mind would ever agree to that? Shaking her head she couldn't let herself think like that otherwise she would loose all her confidence of going through with it.

Seeing them as they turned the corner made her nervous too. It didn't help that her friend made an excuse for why they should wait. Well she would just have to be the one to push them both forward and to their goal. "Come on, no time better than the present," she said moved her friend towards where the two men were.

Lexi breathed out a heavy sigh, she felt her cheeks heat up but guessed she couldn't back down now. She needed to do this, they could't end up with no partners, that would just be humiliating and they were supposed to be proving their worth after all! So she did what she did best - became obnoxious and arrogant.

"Hey! Wait up!" She hesitated for just a second when she saw them both turn around and had to shake herself out of it. Her hands were fisted on her hips as she looked at them both, she was a little annoyed that she was quite short and so had to look up at them but she tried to keep confident. "We want to talk to you."

Punk was the first to turn around as he eyes the two girls approaching. He knew who they were, everyone did. They were new and so they were the butt of every prank. He would admit they had guts though. They had fared well with whatever was thrown at them so far and he was minutely impressed. When Lexi opened her mouth and spoke to him in that way he raised an eyebrow in question. "Are you asking me or ordering me?" He asks, crossing his arms and waiting for the answer. nHe wasn't someone who took well to orders.

When the two turned around Scarlett felt her resolve completely vanish. This whole thing wasn't as thrilling as it had been a few minutes ago when they were just talking about it. Maybe she was better off not trying to tag team up with someone. It was better than facing more humiliation and it was worse when one was causing it to themselves. No, she was positive she couldn't do this.

Before Lexi could respond to what Punk said she immediately spoke up. "Wow I can't believe you actually went through with my dare," she said to her friend. "We didn't really have anything to ask you guys," she said while backing up.

Orton turned around second and already knew who the two were. Pretty much everyone did. Someone really had to be out of the loop not to know who the new people were. New people were always treated horribly and he was surprised that they, especially being two girls, were handling it well so far. He rose an eyebrow at the back and forth from what the one girl said and how the other seemed all nervous after walking up. "Oh and what would that be?" He couldn't imagine what either of them would have to say to him.

Lexi was having none of it, she grabbed her friend and made her stay, levelling Punk with her ultimate stare. After all, he wasn't the one she was asking at all. "Yeah I did, does it deflate your ego a little?" She asked cockily, glancing at Scarlett and giving her a reassuring grin. We can do this! She tried to convey, pushing her friend forward before moving her attention to Orton.

"It's girls choice for Survivors Series. And I choose you." Okay, maybe ordering them around wasn't the best strategy, but she couldn't back out now. Inside she was trembling with her nervousness but she wouldn't show it outwardly.

Punk's eye twitched slightly at the nerve of this girl and shook his head. When she pushed Scarlett forward he immediately looked at the other girl. He had heard Lexi's words and smirked slightly. "Oh, so this is what you girls want..?" He asked, his gaze fixed on Scarlett as he waited for her to speak.

HE hadn't failed to notice the fact that Scarlett had tried to get them out of it. This would be easy, he didn't think the girl had much resolve to do this so getting out of it would be simple. Or so he thought..

Scarlett knew it wouldn't be that simple. Lexi had that cocky act going on which only meant she would see this through. Her friend always used that as her way to deal with things when nervous. She inwardly bit her lip when her friend kept her from backing away and there really wasn't much she could do now. Being pushed forward caused her to glare slightly at the other girl before having to look at whom she was pushed in front of.

The way Punk said that made her subconsciously stand up straighter. The tone reminded her of the challenge this would be. She may be nervous but after all she had been through this should be a piece of cake. If she could be in front of millions of people then doing this was a cake walk in comparison.

Unwaveringly she made herself return the gaze. "Well we wouldn't be standing here mentioning it otherwise if it wasn't," she spoke trying to sound more confident than she felt.

Orton was almost amused at the way she spoke to Punk. Obviously he wouldn't be the least bit happy if it were him she was talking to like that. But seeing it was a tad entertaining. Watching as she pushed the other girl forward and then the one stepped towards him he cocked an eyebrow. The way she said that made it sound like a done deal which was definitely not the case.

"You'll have to go choose someone else, I don't do tag teams," he spoke not paying much attention to the other conversation. He almost said the saying that he was known for about not playing well with others. It was very true and he didn't take well to anyone, especially a woman, trying to order him around.

Lexi stood her ground and cocked her own eyebrow. "Not even for me?" She pouted a little and fluttered her eyelashes a little. "And after I got all dressed up to ask you... Gentlemanliness is dead it seems..." She sighed dramatically, looking at the floor as if she was about to give up on the idea.

But then her head shot up and she looked at him with new determination, a smy smirk on her lips. "Oh wait.. I don't give up that easy. And besides, I wasn't aware I was asking you to play with me..." She said the words as if there were an alternate meaning to it, her smirk never wavering. "More to assist me but not get in my way. See I play to win.. but if you're not up for the challenge and are afraid to be upstaged by a girl.. then you can just tell me honestly." She said coyly, trying this new tactic. She could keep playing for as long as it took. She wasn't someone who took being told 'no' easily.

Punk looked mildly amused that Scarlett had managed to get up the courage to talk to him like that and he chuckled a little under his breath. "Was it really worth asking? I don't team up.. I don't need someone to drag me down." He said absently, but the cockiness and challenge was in his eyes, daring her to argue with him. He wanted to see if she had any fire in her, she seemed like she could but she was clearly nervous. He wondered how far he could push her before she gave up.

Scarlett was a little annoyed by the dragging down comment. "I don't drag anyone down," she stated in a matter-o-fact voice. "If anything I should be worried you'll get in my way," she said to mess with his head and get a reaction out of him. Yes taunting like this wasn't the way to get him to agree but she couldn't help it. Well she had tricks up her sleeve if he further argued with her. She didn't even want to consider alternative people to ask because she really didn't plan to take no for an answer.

Orton wasn't to fazed by what she said at first. And he didn't even really see her giving up that easy because of how sassy she already was. The second half of her speech irked his nerves a little but he didn't let that show. "I don't assist people. Maybe you don't know who I am so let me introduce myself, I'm Randy Orton. If you want a male puppet to boss around I suggest go trying Santino, Zack Ryder, or someone else like them." He didn't plan on agreeing and wasn't going to play games like the other three were.

Punk looked at her for a long moment, trying to work out if this kid was serious or not. "Honey, you haven't been here long, so clearly you don't know that I don't drag anyone down. I'm the best in the world." He said with a cocky grin, his hands moving to either side of his head in a 'what can I do about it' gesture. "You might as well give up, I don't play with the new girls.. Hell I don't play with anyone really. I'm a lone wolf kinda guy." He said absently, leaning back against the wall behind him, casually crossing his arms. "So, is that all?"

Lexi tilted her head a little and rolled her eyes. "I know who you are, I'm not stupid." She said plainly, considering his words for a few moments. "You're right actually, maybe there is someone better to ask..." She said, letting him think that he may have won. She turned on her heel a little and made it look like she was about to leave before turning her head back to look at him. "Hey, you don't know if Del Rio is available do ya? I think he may be a better choice... if I want to win that is. Why ask boys when I can ask the men after all."

Scarlett felt a little insulted by the fact he had to say new girl before saying that he didn't deal with anyone. Oh well she wasn't about to say anything on that. Pretending to think for a moment she allowed herself to grin. He wasn't going to like what she was about to say at all. "I guess I should have gone with my first instinct. Why go for the champ when you can go for the bigger, kicks everyone's ass wrestler Ryback? Thanks, you've given me a clear prospective," she told him before turning around and starting to walk away as if she actually was going to find the guy he had been rivaling with for what seemed like months now.

While it may have been hard to tell Orton wasn't really happy about the comment she made. Del Rio of all people? "You'll see nothing but last place with that guy," he told her. "Besides he wouldn't take orders either. Your better off with the one who will win rather than the one who won't listen and loose." It took a moment to realize he had walked right into that trap and had to admit she was good. She seemed like the type who knew what to do to get her way. Well apparently that had to be the case considering how he practically just agreed to tag team.

Punk felt his mouth gape at her comment and he almost, almost spluttered. "Ryback? You are kidding me right? That heap of meat will get you nowhere like I can!" And then he stilled completely, realising his mistake. She had riled him up and mentioned the one thing that would irk him enough to agree. He mentally cursed himself for falling into what was, quite clearly a trap. "That.. was devious." He stated finally as he eyed her carefully. Unfortunately though, he had just indirectly agree'd.. and he was a man of his word. He couldn't believe this girl had managed to make him agree and he felt a little annoyed that he hadn't taken her seriously. She clearly knew what she was doing and how to get what she wanted.

Lexi smirked as she turned slowly to look at him, her eyes shining with a devious light. "Oh really now? Glad you agree. I'll see you later then to sign the paperwork... partner" She purposefully put emphasis on her last words, blowing him a kiss in a teasing manner. Her face and smile just screamed that she knew she had gotten her way and she knew very well that she had used exactly the right words to make him bend to her words. "It might be fun to play with a new sexy male puppet." She added, just to annoy him a little further and rub in her victory.
