"I guess I just feel like what we did is something Eve would do. Not me.." Scarlett admitted. The diva champion was not her favorite as far as females went and what they did was the same style as when Eve had played Zack Ryder and Cena. She didn't want to be like that other female but as long as she did this she would be just as bad as the other woman. Now she was starting to consider just backing out and use some other way to work her way to the top. "I guess we should," she agreed and moved to change. It wasn't something she would ever tell anyway but everything there was kind of getting to her a little bit but she would never let anyone find that out or show it outwardly.

Orton nodded and wanted to just get the stupid thing over with. He didn't want to do this but there wasn't a way out of it now. At least not so easily and he wouldn't break a word that he had basically given. "The sooner it's done the better," he said and wanted this night to be over with now. He was trying to think of what exactly might get her to quit and not want to do this anymore and what he could do to get her to feel that way.

Lexi herself didn't have a problem with what she had done. She looked at Scarlett and knew this was really bothering the other girl. She frowned a little and tilted her head. "How about this.. we could just bite the bullet and at the signing make an agreement? They give us a chance, nothing more. If by the time of Survivors Series they still say no, then we will back out.. it's fair and we give them a get out of jail free card.." She offers, trying to make her friend feel better. She would go through it too, she didn't want Scarlett to feel like something she didn't particularly like.

Punk couldn't have agree'd more, he wasn't pleased with what had transpired, but he would do as he had basically agree'd to. He looked at Orton and shrugged a little. "Well, we better get ready, I think we'll need to be out on stage soon to sign or whatever." He sighed, still a little annoyed he had been roped into this.

"You don't have to do that," she said and looked to her friend. "It's my problem not yours," she added. If worse came to worse she would just back out and he would get his way. Obviously she wouldn't let her feelings get in the way of her friend since it wasn't fair to her. It was her business and if she could go through with it then good for her.

Orton nodded and supposed he better just get this over with. After a moment he finally made himself walk to go get ready. Everyone would probably get a good laugh over seeing him go out and sign to partner up after he had already stated on a few different occasions that he wouldn't be pairing up. It wasn't even the fact he was pairing with a newbie but just that he was in general teaming up.

Lexi smiled softly, shaking her head. "I made a promise that we would do this together, if you back out, I will too. This way we can keep a good reputation and maybe, if we play it right... Still get what we aimed for." She said calmly and grinned, tilting her head. "Plus, I always said I'd get famous for being myself, not for tricking people to get ahead. I gues I just got competitive with getting him to agree.."

Punk was resigned t the fact he had to go through this-- for now anyway. He left to go het himself ready, he planned to just sign and leave, not spending any more time than he had to trying to explain why he suddenly decided to pair up with another. He'd rather just wait until it all blew over.

Scarlett was feeling bothered by the fact she was now ruining something for her friend but decided not to comment on it. Maybe if she did back out she wouldn't tell Lexi until the last minute that way her friend wouldn't ruin her shot because of her. "Yeah it was sort of the same with me. I wanted to win the challenge but didn't really think about how I did it," she said. "I think I'm going to change back into some regular clothes real quick."

Orton changed into his usual jeans and shirt that he would often wear on camera. He wasn't happy, not be little bit, about the way he was roped into this. Well he didn't plan for it to stay this way and would find a way out of it somehow. For now he just wanted it over with and he really wasn't thrilled with the fact of trying to explain why he was now going to pair up. He wold just get in and out as quick as possible.

lexi shook her head a little, looking at her friend. "I think I want to give him the choice anyway,m he was one of the people I anted to meet the most, I don't want him thinking and resenting me because I tricked him into something he was nailing to do..." She admits, taking a black, slightly formal ripped style dress out and slipping it over her wrestling outfit so she didn't have to change completely. It went well with her boots too which was always a bonus.

Punk soon exited his changing room, a pair of dark blue jeans and his signature tshirt on. He didn't wear anything special as he wouldn't be out for long. He walked down to the backstage area, getting himself a drink and waiting. He knew the girls had to go out and announce their partners first, so he just had to wait and watch it on the big scree until his music played.

Scarlett went behind one of the changing screens and changed into one of her favorite pairs of jeans and a black blouse. "Yeah I don't want him resenting me either. That's part of the reason why I started being hesitant towards the idea now," she told her before walking back out. "Are you nervous about having to announce who your partner is?"

After he was done changing he reluctantly went to watch one of the screens in the back. At least he only had to go out after he was announced so that was good. He would just be glad when it was over with and he could head back to the hotel and try to get some rest. If he could get to sleep anyway considering how things had gone today.

Lexi shook her head. "Nope." And she honestly wasn't especially now she had made up her ind. she loved being on stage and always thrived and was in her element with all of the eyes watching her, so she had no worries. "Are you?" She asks, redoing her make-up so it was perfect. She checked the time on the wall and squeaked. "But we gotta hurry, we not have a couple of minutes till show time."

Punk sighed as he waited, this was by far the worst part of it... The waiting. He saw as a couple of the other diva's were announcing who they will be teaming with. It wouldn't be long until Lexi and Scarlett would be called up. They seemed to always be together so he wasn't surprised when Jerry Lawler introduced them one at a time. Lexi was first, he watched her skip out, posing while some orange fireworks surrounded her and she cartwheeled down the ramp into another pose before giggling and running into the ring smoothly, raising her hands and encouraging more cheers.

"I don't know," Scarlett said and shrugged, unsure whether she should be or not. Taking a deep breath she followed after an obviously very excited Lexi. She herself might have been a little bit too but it didn't show as much as her friend did. Lexi was called first before her and they would both announce who theirs were.

Orton was antsy with all the waiting. It seemed like two or three were going out at a time and announcing. It was no surprise that after Lexi was announced Scarlett was right after her. The blonde had more of a peppy walk rather than ran in the ring. Instead of climbing right in as most others she climbed to the top rope held her hands up for a mere moment and then back flipped into the center of the ring.

Lexi grinned happily as Lawler came over to them, she kissed his cheek fondly as he spoke, asking them who they had asked. Lexi took one of the offered microphones, handing another to her friend. She smiled as she held it to her mouth. "We'll Jerry, I personally wanted someone who was ruthless and would help me win..." She paused for a moment, glancing around the crowd. She giggled and held up a hand. "So may I announce... My partner for Survivors Series.. Mr. Randy Orton!" She couldn't help but laugh happily at the shocked gasps from the crowd at the sound of Ortons music, turning her attention to watch his entrance.

Punk shook his head a little at her announcement, she was way too excitable for his l inking and seemed to be taking so much more joy out of this than was needed. But he shrugged it off, he supposed everyone had their style, he just. Hoped to god Scarlett was a little calmer, he didn'T think he could handle someone as hyper as Lexi.
