Darkmega opened his eyes and he was in a completely black area... But he could see himself, so he wasn't in the void.

"Was I dreaming?" he asked himself, then suddenly the simulation began building itself around him as ones and zeros started in the center then cascaded across the ground and up the walls creating a 10x10 paneled room, similar to a portal test chamber except all the sides were white.

"Wow... nice redstone trick..." he mumbled in amazement.

(waiting for everyone to materialize first before Omni turns up, and I "activate my hud", which you should mimic for your characters when I do.)

"Hmm, an interesting little toy this world has. Perhaps I can have some fun with it myself?" Edgar looked down at himself, frowning at his current form. Instead of having his normal, powerful form, he had reverted back to his human years. Looking at the inside of his doctors coat, he hummed in curiosity at the fact that it was filled with scalpels and syringes. "Odd, I would never leave with this many objects on my person. I may be broken in some ways, but surely not in the mental sense." Edgar then looked around, seeing that he was in a large white room. Only...he wasn't alone, now was he?

Some distance away from him, was an odd figure made out of cubes. Edgar visibly winced at how badly made it looked, but quickly turned to wondering how...resistant it was. After a moment or two of looking at the creature, Edgar realized it was something from another one of humanities toys. Raising his voice, Edgar called out to the creature. "Hello there. I assume you don't know what is going on?"
Letting Destiny control your life is like giving up your free will. You have no real choice in your life, only a set path forced upon you. Some Destinies put you on a path of good, while others put you on a path of evil. However, Destiny forces you onto those paths sometimes, making you give up many things that define you. Destiny is in truth, a double edged sword. It cuts you just as deeply as it cuts into the paths of others.

Never let Destiny guide you. It may cause more harm to who you are than you think.

(so you came straight away? Fair enough. The others haven't turned up yet though. D: )

Darkmega turned to see a man in a lab coat call out to him, "Hello there. I assume you don't know what is going on?"

Darkmega shrugged, "Not a clue. I was just sitting in some technical chair thing Syrus created when I was back at..." Darkmega thought for a moment, "back at where-ever that place was. But now I'm in this... Room thing...?"

It was at that moment a streamlined robot walked through one of the walls into the arena, the wall he had walked through wavering slightly disappearing to reveal it was actually a door way, "Welcome to Orientation. My name is Omni, I am to be your temporary guide to the innerworkings of the transdimensional battleguild. This room you see before you is actually all a simulation, being projected into your minds directly. Similar rules to the world your "bodies" are currently in apply, but that still does not mean they cannot be bent. But before we continue, please hold a moment while we wait for the other guests to Synchronize to the mainframe." The robot said.

Edgar nodded to what Darkmega said, quickly turning his attention towards the machine who just walked in. Listening to what it said, Edgar groaned almost as if he heard it all before. Finding the machine to be boring on a first glance, Edgar turned his head towards the blocky figure from before. "So, what is the name you go by? I am normally called Stitches. However...considering my current state, call me Edgar." Edgar pulled a syringe out from his coat, examining it closely. With widened eyes, he let out a quick yell of joy. "Amazing, they even pulled these from my mind!"

In sudden realization, Shiki snapped her eyes instantly open as she awakened from her time of unconsciousness. Where am I now?.... was all she could think about as she saw the new area she had appeared in. The only difference she could identify were two other people, hopefully friendly, that were there, conversing. Also, some sort of machine was there, it surprised her since she's never seen a machine like that before. Before she could actually approach these people, Shiki looked down at herself to see that she was still in her friend Eri's form, and then thinking that her Psychs were also returned to her too. Well....maybe I need my Psychs from the Reapers' Game for whatever this is for exactly.... Shiki thought over before walking towards the two people that seemed to be just as confused as she was, and that machine.

"Um, excuse me...is there somethg going on here?" Shiki asked, not sure what else she should ask about. She held Mr. Mew in her arms still, since it was one of the things that she has a meaning to.

"So, what is the name you go by? I am normally called Stitches. However...considering my current state, call me Edgar."

"Just call me Darkmega. I'm a Minecraftian. We're builders, fighters, creators, scientists... just about anything you want to be really." Darkmega then noticed Edgar pull our a Syringe and jumped back.

"Amazing, they even pulled these from my mind!"

"Are you some kind of Scientist or Doctor?" Darkmega asked, remembering that he used to use Syringes, either for taking blood samples from mobs to clone them into brainwashed troops or just pure clones for blowing steam on. Or even for throwing poison darts or giving himself quick medicine when he was an Assassin in one of the ages he appeared in.

"Um, excuse me...is there somethg going on here?" Shiki asked.

"Oh, hello there. You must be one of the other people Omni the robot here talked about," He said turning his attention to Shiki who was holding a cute plushie toy of some kind in her arms.

"I'm not JUST a robot. I'm a specialized Holographic training Droid. I can repair myself, and mimick anyone currently attached to the system. take a look!" Omni said then with a waver of his form as if he was an illusion he turned into darkmega and began mimicking him as the real darkmega jumped in surprise, "Regardless, there is just one to come, unless Syrus alerts us to late comers. Please continue to converse and get used to the simulation. Some first timers feel it somewhat unnerving. Just be aware that any and all punishment you receive will register itself as real pain to your body because of the mind link. But thanks to technology of the day, as long as you are within a Simulation, Death is only a temporary inconvenience." Omni then transformed back to it's robot form in a flash leaving darkmega confused, because that was actually one of his own saying and it was as if omni had just pulled it right out of his head.

(Just making conversation since unending won't be on for a bit {based on observation} and this is, after all, an extension on the main IC.)

At hearing the mention of pain within this simulation, Edgar whispered something to himself. "Ah yes, another reason for my being here..." Looking towards Darkmega, Edgar let out a small laugh at being called a doctor. "You could say I'm a doctor. You could also say I'm a person who enjoys seeing how much pain someone could take." At hearing a new voice, Edgar turned his head towards the source of it. Only to have the machine interrupt and change into Darkmega, something that Edgar looked at with boredom. Turning back to shiki, Edgar did a quick gentlemanly bow. "Hello, my name is Dr. Edgar. The blocky fellow is named Darkmega. What may be your name, forgive me for asking?"

I hope that kind of pain Omni was talking about isn't as bad as the pain of being Erased... Shiki thought with a shiver. That experience of being an Entry Fee for Neku wasn't the greatest for her, and she never planned on being in a situation like that ever again. "Wait, there's going to be more people here?" Shiki spoke in realization to Darkmega, she didn't really like big crowds that much, but she took a guess that she had to cope with it for now. "Oh! My name, it's Shiki Misaki, and here's Mr. Mew!" Shiki introduced herself to both of them, and held out Mr. Mew once she introduced her stuffed toy/Psych.

Edgar chuckled at her introduction of MR. Mew. Standing tall again, he took a second look at Shiki. Tilting his head to the side, he gave her a look of curiosity. "Hmm. Looks like not everyone is original with their ideas." Realizing what he said, Edgar covered his mouth and coughed loudly. "Anyways, could you tell us who this last person is Omni?" Edgar was still holding a syringe, slowly spinning it in his hand.

Shiki then put Mr. mew back to where her arms held it. Again, she didn't mention anything about it being used for her attacks. She blinked a bit curiously when she heard Edgar say something, but very luckily she didn't actually catch his comment. Discarding her curiosity on that earlier said topic and only listened for the answer that Omni would answer for all three of them. Just how much more people would join them?
