after the discovery of magic and mysterious creatures humans set out to hunt down everyone mythic, be it human or not. a small town not far from the largest kingdom of the land Kaikorus. Mickiza kamakachi (random surname i made up o_o) is heading out to master his gift, its a will be hard to do so alone so he has to find someone willing to die for his safety, but he is shy, and quite hated by many males in the village.

Kira sighed, clutching the rag she was holding tighter. It was damp, still wet from when she was cleaning the tables earlier. She could feel the slightly sticky moisture seeping onto her palms as she turned to watch her mother disappear into the back room. Her eyes remained trained on the door for a moment longer than was necessary, by which time a group of around five women, dressed in the threads of the East, had swamped the floor, their shrill voices and elbaroate hand gestures piercing the smoke that hung in the air like mist.

Kira sighed again, rolling her eyes and tossing the rag into the bucket at her feet. A man, with a plaited beard which hung far down past his waist, emerged from the throng and held up a couple of coins, gesturing to the bottle of gin sitting slightly to the left of a couple of abandoned beer tankards. She reached for it, popping the cork and filling a glass, whilst making sure to grab the money from his withered fingers with her other hand. "Bottoms up." she said with a quick smile, handing him the drink and slipping the coins into her pouch. He nodded in thanks before disappearing back into the crowd. The group of travellers were still hooting, their laughs only coaxing Kira's annoyance and/or indifference further. It'd only turned dark about an hour ago. She had another 6 or so more hours of this. Woop-de-freakin-do.

Mickiza walked around the village, he had been panicking all day, he needs to fill his father's shoes. after packing his bags he wen to the bar for a quick drink before the journey, it was a stupid idea to go alone but no other man in the village will accompany him during his trek to master whatever ability was passed down to him, was it the control of fire by his dad, or the ability to shapeshift from his mother, bot fully fledged assassins.

Mickiza walked into the bar and barged through the crowd unnoticed, sat down at a secluded table in the corner waited until a worker appeared "can i get a drink please, anything to calm my nerves", i searched his bag and got the money read, pulled out his knife and began polishing it

When her mother reappeared again with a large sack of fruit, her greying hair hanging in wisps around her face, Kira slipped on the apron that tied up around her waist and threw the empty tankards into the sink. A boy, a little older than her, gestured her over. Slipping past the bar and through the crowd, she rested her hands on the back of his chair and took his order. "Big hunt coming up? Or are you asking one of the Fleets' if you can take their daughter's hand in marriage?" She smirked, cocking an eyebrow, before returning to the bar and grabbing the Fire Whisky from the shelf. Boys, she thought to herself with a quick roll of her eyes, They always have to be on some sort of quest. She picked a glass up off the side and then made her way back to his table. "Fire Whiskey." she said, "Three silvers."

as she walked to the bar to get his drink he spaced out, started thinking, wonder so far i've been alone and i'm just fine, out there won't be to hard he then smirked, as he took the fire whiskey he passed the coins "thanks... and no i'm going to do my right of passage, learn my ability and to master it" he smiled and looked at the table and took a swigg, damn this really burns the throat.

He put his knife a way and stared at the travelers, "i should leave soon" he began speaking to himself, without even knowing he was "maybe i should give up"
