A coalition made up of your races. It can't be any larger then other people's races. People can join any such coalition should they desire, but I'm not sure they'd give up leadership.

my idea is to have a race similar to the Xindi from Star Trek: Enterprise, however, instead of multiple races living in a democracy, this would have one main species as the ruling Royal Family, with several others living around them.

On second thought, I might go with mechanoids as well, I'll give this some more though.
