The Continent
For now, all was quiet on all fronts. It seemed as if their were ceasefires, and if not that, then at least a calm between fighting. No cities were raided, no villages were razed, not even any patrolling parties slaughtered or gone missing. It was unusually peaceful in a time of war. The time that had passed was a full season. Months of preparing for slaughter may have been contentious and anxiety ridden, but at least there was a small pause in the murders and killing. The Danaan were trading with neighbors and tribes throughout the continent, though their headquarters in the North was well stocked and had become a practical nation on it's own. The Sasquatch were telling stories by the campfire, the Wolven lycans were on their hunt, and so on.
However, the plans were taking place for further fighting between the races. Most in power wanted their leaders out. Too much fighting was causing too much death, hunger and poverty. Even the Virian were beginning to feel the strain on their resources from being on five different fronts.
