Lark noticed that one of the other Puella Magi was badly wounded, she ran to the girl's side and caught her as she begun to collapse before she hit the floor, Lark carefully lowered Akane to the floor and then looked her over, Lark was no doctor but she had taken a few first aid classes, she also knew that if she could get the other magic user to survive for a while then her body would heal itself. The young Englishwoman however saw that the first aid kit she had in her bag just would not help here, the other girl had a hole blown straight through her, sure Puella Magi was more durable than normal human beings, but not even one of them could survive that.
"Shh, do not move I will take care of you."
Lark had hoped to not have to use magic, her Soul Gem was so dark already, it had taken on a dark, ruby burgundy of late, but there was nothing for it, unless she used magic the girl on the floor would die. Lark gently put the girl in her arms completely down on the floor, she took of her school uniform's jacket and folded it and placed it under Alane's head like a sort of makeshift pillow, then she slowly stood and transformed back into her Puella Magi form, this spell would require all the magic the young Englishwoman could muster.
Once Lark again was dressed in a frilly deep red and yellow dress and her Soul Gem again hung on her forehead where it glowed dimly Lark knelt down beside Akane again, within her Lark tried to project only feelings of caring and concern for the girl she hardly knew other than having seen her around the school's campus, she tried to bring forth a deep need for the other Puella Magi to survive, and then slowly when the feeling was right Lark bent over Akane and kissed her on the forehead, using Mother's Kiss to heal her. Akane was bathed in a soft, ruby glow, a glow that smelled of sweet summer and roses and slowly her wounds begun to close, flesh and skin knitting itself together before everyone's eyes. Small cuts and bruises healed completely but Akane's large wound only closed some, it would still need time to completely heal, but it would heal and much faster than if Lark had not used her magic.
Once her spell was done Lark leaned back on he heals to catch her breath, slowly she changed back to her normal appearance and looked down at her Soul Gem, now back on her finger as a ring, the ruby like stone was even darker now. Lark sigh, how long could she survive this? Unless she got a Grief Seed soon the stone would go completely dark, and then what? Lark shuddered and then turned her attention back to Akane.
"Stay still for while longer Miss."
Lark said in a friendly voice that his the worry she was feeling.
"How are you doing now? Are you still in pain? My name is Lark Hashimoto by the way, may I ask yours?"
