Yup, sure is. It'll be just the back part of the store, where they keep coffee beans and other stock. Not super big, but it'll have a (very convenient, lol) garage-type door for deliveries. It also has the table for staff breaks. Right next to the bathroom

Ok, now that I'm typing on an actual computer and not my forum-hating phone...More info about post order and why I don't think it's a big deal:

If one person drops out the game loses momentum while we wait to hear what's going on. Dislike!
Solution: We will keep posting, who ever is on/active can post and not have to worry about 'jumping the line'. That being said...If I come back tomorrow morning and there's like 8 pages of posts about everyone sloooowwwwllllyyyy moving to the back room...Rawr. lol. So, no posting order and feel free to post when you're on within reason. I'll be on regularly and I'll move things along at what I hope will be a natural pace...rather than a stop-and-start pace (which is how I feel about strict posting order).

Alright with everyone? Is there anyone who absolutely LOVES posting order and will be upset and leave if we try things out this way???

Second point. Since I'm not crazy about posting order, but I also don't want this to turn into a two person back-and-forth thing: If you're going to have an individual convo, strictly between two people, take it to PMs and take the time to build a full conversation/scene. If that takes a few days that's fine, just try and have an end goal so if the game moves on from that point you can still have reactions that will make sense (I'll have an example below). Once the scene is finished PM it to everyone else in the game, so we're in on why your two chars suddenly are all over each other/at each other's throats/ect.

Example:

Johnny and Sally are the characters. On the IC thread they are currently both active, but have posted to the point where if they keep going it will be leaving everyone else behind. (Ie we're all walking and Johnny and Sally keep walking while the rest of us are stuck at 'go'). Johnny and Sally's...uh...makers decide to take the rest of the conversation to PMs for the sake of both continuity and not leaving everyone else out. It is assumed that Johnny and Sally are 'walking' with the rest of the group at the same pace, any contributions they make to the general conversation/plot will be assumed to fit in or around their other (PM) conversation.

Once the PM scene is done it is sent out to the rest of the group, and now Sally making doe eyes at Johnny makes sense to everyone since they spent half the time they were 'walking' sneaking into the woods to make out and then sneaking back to the group so no one would notice.

I hope that makes sense...I tend to over explain things, so if I did it's not a reflection on you. It's my inner 'teacher' coming out, lol.

An alternative to PMs could be a collaborative document site like Google Docs or sync.in.

Yup, I'm fine with that too As long as once it's done the rest of us get to see too. (unless it's cybersex, in which case...no sharing, lol)

You can assume, though I'll hopefully be getting a post out soonish. With Al, you can probably assume he does most things asked of him, unless he might not know how or thinks it's questionable. He's helpful like that.

And Jakhi, sorry I didn't make this clear, but Al isn't deaf or HOH, just mute, which is why he can hear everything just fine and doesn't think it's normal to have ignored sirens for so long. It is rarer to be physically mute, but I didn't want to play with lack of sound too much, since I'm not familiar with it, and he's got a raven familiar. (Sue me for that reasoning but shhhh...) This also means that he can't lip read any better than the rest of us hearing folk.

EDIT: Also... This PM convo business... Shouldn't people be able to hear it if it's happening near them? Or is this like, the interaction between two characters over several days? In which case, if things do happen while people are still posting in the IC, I'd love it if there could also be some update in the OOC concerning happenings in the PMs that other characters might notice. But only if things are moving along quickly or folks are allright with that. It'd just need to be something as simple as like, Johnny and Sally are sneaking into the woods together guys, so they'll be missing every now and then during the hike. Or whatever. Then we can get the whole scene when it's finished without any huge surprises.

Y'know Nem...I actually had caught that. And yet my brain automatically thinks mute=deaf...*sigh* it would still make turning your back rude I'd think though...??? I will try and force my brain to remember, and if you catch me doing it again give me a whap and tell me to 'fix it!', lol.

Ok, the PM thing...good points. If the two characters are in the same room or nearby then others would be able to hear them...wouldn't react due to courtesy. Or that's what I'm saying anyways. A heads up in the OOC with a brief overview is a great idea! We'll do that.

Part of the reason I'm interested in this is there will be a lot of character development to the game. In groups of people that means lots of dialogue, which is awkward to role play on a thread. *shrugs* it will help with moving things alone as well, I hope! But this is very much a new idea so if something isn't working point it out.

Hey guys, I edited my post, which is the last one on the first place. It's still kinda small, but the one before it needed to be changed to fit Jakhi's changes and it was just...a terrible post that I made hastily ._. I'm not good at stretching posts, either, and I'm really hoping that I'll get better at it as I RP with you guys, because it'll make me a better writer, and I enjoy writing c: But I'm doing my best, and I promise Kenny won't be too angsty and annoying xD
