Preferred Genres: Well, some action's good. I really liked the few nation-command rps that have come up over time as well. Never tried forum rp horror or survival, but I'd like to. I've got no problem with sci-fi or fantasy rps either. I've got an open mind about genres though, and I'm willing to play anything so long as its entertaining.

Preferred type of play [OnexOne, etc]: Doesn't matter, but I've never done any of these 1x1's. I'll probably avoid an rp if there's alot of people already signed up.

Extra information: I'm not on often, I only occasionally come on to hunt around for some interesting looking (and still new) rps. If I get into an rp however, I'll attempt to post at least once a day. Most nearly every setting is fine by me, from medieval/fantasy to sci-fi and everything in between. I'd prefer an rp that's a bit darker and grittier than the average rp however.

**In many senses of the word. I particularly like new genres, but that's rarely possible, so I'm pretty flexible in that sense. I like to try new things in my posts, characters, writing style, development, pacing, etc.

Preferred type of play: Small, active groups. 1x1 is fine, but I prefer at least three. Ideally, five should be the upper bound. Any more than that, and it's hard to track players and posting responsibilities.

Extra information: I have a few years of forum RP experience behind me (in addition to various other means, via games and IRC). Hit me up if you're looking for people for something, and if I'm interested, I'll look into it. Adapting to new ideas is a great way to refine your style, or at least that's my philosophy.

Extra information: I can be slow to respond at times, I have a pretty busy life outside of the internet and two other RP sites I frequent - I work with animals so free time is limited. Extra information: I'm open to all sorts of RP, don't let the preferences fool you. While I prefer Advanced level, I can certainly do Casual level RPs so long as people won't be upset with my larger than required posts; this has gotten me complaints before from Casual players not wanting to read a bunch of my huge posts, so I felt it prudent to mention. I'll also do Arena or 1x1 if someone pokes me with a fun and exciting idea, but I generally don't seek them out. The only RP section I will refuse to participate in is Free because I'm kind of an elitist and I like taking my time and making larger posts; I have nothing against those who play in Free games, they're just not my thing.

Genre and play type preferences are similarly my top picks rather than exclusive realms in which I will participate. I've done everything from 1 on 1 RP to huge free-for-all games with upwards of 30 people posting; I've tended to like games with groups on the smaller side the best, thus the preference listed. As for genre, I'm a fantasy dork, a fan of the whole magic and elves and dragons and epic adventures concept, so that's what I like to RP the most. However, I've been known to dabble a variety of other kinds of RP: sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, political intrigue in various eras, assassins in various eras, superheroes, pirates, modern supernatural stories (vampires and so forth), romance, comedy, and some RPs based in pre-made worlds from shows/books/movies I've enjoyed. I'm probably missing some things in there, but that's as close to a complete list of kinds of RPs I've participated in that I can think up at the moment. I don't rule out any genre of RP simply because of the genre it happens to be; if I read an interest check and the ideas interest me, I'll probably participate regardless of the official genre.

And now for some "extra information" that isn't a clarification of the previously provided information. I play all sorts of roles, ranging from a Rambo type warrior to an intellectual magic user, from a noble paladin to a mischievous rogue type, a common man to a king. I like to keep things fresh by playing different characters, and I have no problem challenging myself by playing something I've never played before. If a game I'm interested in only has one spot open and it absolutely requires a greedy female merchant (all three of these descriptions being things I'm not used to playing), I'll probably do it just to be able to participate in the interesting RP. Or hell, I might get a wild need for something new and different and create such a character I'm not familiar with just to push my boundaries. What I'm trying to get at here is that I'm flexible in my roles rather than sticking to one or two archetypes like I see some folks doing.

So, assuming anyone actually reads these things anymore and stumbles upon mine, and assuming such a reader is running or participating in an RP and would like me to join it because of (or despite) my pretentiousness and verbosity, feel free to send me a PM asking me if I'm interested in said RP. The worst that could happen is that I'll politely decline the invitation and maybe offer some constructive criticism if I feel like I have something worthwhile to say.

Preferred Genres: Sci-Fi and medieval fantasy. Well, any fantasy is good, but mainly I just love medieval stuff. Sci-Fi is okay, though I don't like horror all that much. I HATE ROMANCE RP'S, SO IF YOUR LOOKING TO RECRUIT ME FOR ONE OF THOSE PLEASE................ DON'T.

Preferred type of play [OnexOne, etc]: I love being one on one or in small groups of players, anywhere below twelve. I don't like reading as much as writing, and more than twelve often kills RP's quickly because if even one player goes inactive everything can die.

Extra information: I am very active usually. Have had a few internet-based problems lately. I also have Karate competitions and stuff, where I spend sometimes week-long periods away from a computer. But on an average basis I come on about three or four times a day minimum.
