Preferred Genres: science fiction (space opera, not hardcore), fantasy (modern and medieval), anything Gothic, noir, historical (almost any era), fairy tales, invented worlds, steampunk, pulp fiction, serial adventure, westerns (I never, ever write for canon characters, but I would consider Star Trek or Firefly if we used original characters.

Gender and Orientation: While I am a straight male, I write characters of all orientations and genders and will write with anyone of any gender or orientation. I am not my characters. They are themselves and what they like does not threaten me.

Settings: old museums, London, Victorian anything, country estates, pirate ships, airships, underground kingdoms, circuses, traveling Wild West shows, haunted houses, space stations, enchanted forests, gritty big city streets, crumbling castles, old book stores, old magic shops, fairs, carnivals, renaissance festivals

Races: Any, except for Vampires (which I am not staking) and Smurfs. (I see a rash of Smurf based role-playing coming soon. It will be a blue tidal wave which washes away the sparkling vampires in a wave of happy blue goo.)

Dislikes: I do not like putting torture and rape into stories, unless they are in a past tense and inform character attitudes, or are off screen and are a set up and justification for revenge.

I do not mind romantic elements in stories, but I don't want to write straight romances. Any story I am in needs to either have a mystery or an adventures component. I do not want to write fifty posts about flirting at a party. An example of what I am O.K. with is Princess Leia and Hans Solo in the Star Wars Original Trilogy. There is romantic tension, but the story is about defeating the Empire. I also do not role-play through personal messages, but only in a public thread.

Preferred Category [Beg, Cas, Adv, etc]: Depends largely on the speed of the RP. If we're moving quickly, I'll take it down to low-cas, but typically I prefer anywhere from cas to adv.

Preferred Genres: Speculative fiction, ranging anywhere from 20-minutes-into-the-future scifi to science-fantasy. Modern or futuristic flies best with me, mostly because there are very few time periods I've done enough research on to actually create a story and I don't like creating entire worlds.

Preferred type of play [OnexOne, etc]: 1x1 or the occasional small group, if we're all comfortable with each other.

Extra information: I'm a bisexual female capable of playing either gender or pairing/ot3, but I don't like doing more than 3 characters in a 'ship together. I'm also not into the whole Stockholm syndrome thing. If you're torturing me, chances are I'm not falling in love with you. [Unless we pilots have known each other for long enough to make it comfortably work.] I like a lot of OOC communication when I RP. As for romances, I like us each to double up and let chemistry happen when it happens, without designating pairings beforehand.

Things I'm always up for: hurt/comfort, time travel, revolution, mutants or supernaturals vs humans, and/or age of sail.

I'm a rampant teratophiliac and somewhat of an emetophiliac. If that disturbs you a lot and is in no way something you want to cater to, tell me beforehand and I won't drag it into the story.

Extra information: I'm straight, I'm a girl... Though, yeah... I don't like to talk much at all about myself. I usually like to let my characters do that. Character developement I believe could be improved with me, so this site should help alot. I don't like much of a challenge, but I'm always up for it.

When Role Playing... Well, I'm not sure, but I hope I do good. I love zombies, and I love fanfiction. The majority of my characters are fan characters. That's about it I guess...

I could be simple at times, but could also be complicated. I'm not who I am (duh) during roleplays and can be both female or male characters. I tend to create romance, but usually is ignored. I will always spark something to make it interesting. (That's it for now)

Preferred type of play: Group role play; it's nice to have lots of people contributing helping to story to have abit more of an edge.

Extra information: I am a big fan of descriptive Role Plays where it is clear what is happening, and where it is happening. I don't mind comedy Role Plays so long as they aren't cheesey and are actually funny.

Preferred Category: I guess I'd say a mix of Casual and Advanced.

Preferred Genres: I'm up for pretty much anything and everything, and have probably done it all at least once before. But any RP I participate in needs to have at least a small bit of romance spliced in.

Preferred type of play: I prefer 1-1, with lots of ooc conversation mixed in with my partner, be it talking about the RP itself and putting our heads together for lovely ideas and twists, or just about anything random. But I'm not opposed to group RPing, so long as it's a pretty small and manageable group of 3-5 people; I don't like getting lost in a great sea of posts.

Extra information:
- I'm quite an addictive RPer. If an RP has a hook in me, then I like to go at it whenever possible. So someone who has plenty of free time on their hands and likes to use it writing would be a preferred partner.
- I RP in two styles; the first is lengthy and slow and the second is. . . well, slightly less lengthy and slightly less slow. At my best, I write a lot, with my parts going on for a few pages with lots of detail. Sometimes I have to stop and remember I'm RPing with someone and not writing a book by myself. But, on average, I'd probably be more inclined to write 5 or 6 well constructed paragraphs and take it easy on my brittle brain. But even then I'm probably slower than your average RPer; I not only like to go back and read, edit, and correct, but I also can get distracted sometimes. In either style, I'd prefer my partner(s) to be patient.
- I like having multiple characters, though the most I've had in any single RP is 6-7. It does get quite confusing to me, as much as I love it, so usually I tend to stick more with 2 or 3 characters.
- Even though I'm a girl, I like to play male characters too. I try to avoid making the type of male characters that are feminine in personality, though not always appearance.
- I don't always stick to general rules and conceptions about how plots or characters are constructed, or how relationships are formed between them. I guess you could say I like odd things here and there.

Casual or Advanced. I like detailed roleplaying, but I don't usually go over the top, and I might get discouraged if I'm expected to have 10-20 paragraphs in every other post.

Preferred Genres:
Casual/slice of life, fantasy, sci-fi, whatever you'd like really! I'm quite open as long as you can explain to me what kind of setting you enjoy, and how I can fit into it.

Preferred type of play:
I'm honestly a lot more used to one-on-one, and I can get lost in group plays. However, if it's just three or four people, depending on what the RP is I might give it a shot. You just have to check.
