Preferred Genres: My comfort zone is a fantasy setting very similar to the style of the Elder Scrolls games, (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) whether it be adventuring, or whatever else you do, (never realised how ignorant I was with that, hah.) and whilst I'll most commonly participate or hold role plays of this kind, I'm up for throwing my characters into loads of different settings. If any Final Fantasy VII role plays come my way though, I'm straight in there!

Fantasy - the higher, the better: I do it all the time and want to keep playing it forever. I'll do modern or pseudo-historical fantasy, too. I'm pretty open on the specifics, with one caveat: I despise "fantasy, but no magic" and "fantasy, but lousy magic" settings - to me, that's like offering me a delicious plate of Spaghetti - except without the pasta. I'm a vegetarian, by the way, so leaving in the minced meat is not going to cut it for me.
Science Fiction: I did this once or twice, but I badly want psychic powers in it. I'm also a bit nit-picky on the science stuff I know, so don't be pretentious about how the technology works unless you've double-checked your arguments.
Mutants: I can and have done this, and will probably do so again. I'm wary of including any canon characters or weirder power setups like needing a true love or something. Just give me some mutated people, a semblance of plot, and don't make the power level pathetic, then I'm happy.
Supernatural/World of Darkness/However you call it: I once had a dear little "general supernaturals" game running, and if it isn't just about vampires and werewolves (throw in some witches and mutants at least) and gives a halfway-plausible explaination for how the supers manage to sneak past humanity, I'm in. Picture Night Watch as my ideal setting for this sort of thing.
Preferred type of play: I think I'll do group play exclusively here. If, by some freak accident, someone actually wants to play one-on-one with me, I'd probably be open towards the idea, but I won't actively look for it.
Extra information: I'm a long-time fan of Terry Pratchett, so both humor and at least some shadow of hope are quite important to me - if you want your RP to stay deadly serious or doomy-gloomy all the time, keep me out of it or expect me to break the tone quite a bit. I usually don't plan on purposefully killing or permanently mangling my character (physically or psychically) any more than he already is at start, and I won't react too happily if someone else does it to him without asking.
Realism in role-playing is always illusory. The only thing that differs between games is the will save DC.

Preferred category: Advanced and some Casual. Basically I like to write longer responses, and get a good depth to how my character acts.
Preferred genres: I'm used to Medieval Fantasy type settings, but I've read a lot and learned a lot. Basically if you get me interested that's all that matters. Historical stuff is also good, though this was only implied in the previous sentence.
Preferred type of play: Well, all that matters to me is that I get some enjoyment out of it.
Extra Information: I like to go for being original, though there are exceptions. Notable exception being when I role-play a drow female in fantasy-type settings. Basically I'm here if you're looking for someone to do something different. Doesn't have to be unorthodox what you're doing, if you interest me I'll manage to make what I do something different.
