Actually, I may not respond to Peaches, because only one person's ever used that nickname for me, so no promises there.

Preferred Category: Casual to Advanced. I haven't really been around long enough to have a great idea where I fall, but I'm too timid to flat-out label myself as advanced. >.<

Preferred Genres: Anything with a plot*, and occasionally things without. Additionally, I stay away from things that seem like excuses for roleplay orgies (ie. anything going on the furry aspect for no particular reason other than an assumed author fetish, any RP that mandates breast size >.>), and things that I feel have been done to death (lolguysletsdoawerewolvesvsvampiresroleplay! Totally original!).

Preferred type of play: I prefer small groups usually, but really any size is ok as long as the roleplay is going to result in significant character interactions**.

    Extra information:
You'll usually find me running my own RPs rather than joining others.

An expression of interest from me is NOT a commitment. If I say "You have my interest," that means that I'm interested, but I don't feel like you've done enough work on the premise to warrant a commitment at that point, or some other factor has me a little worried.

I don't launch half-baked RPs. If you see an OOC or interest check from me, nine times out of ten it will be well thought out (in my opinion at least) and ready to launch as soon as enough people have signed up.

My RPs are rarely happy. I don't believe in happy endings, with the possible exception of massages, but I don't have the experience there to tell.

My RPs are generally deep. If you find yourself reading any of my work or even joining it, do me a favor and open yourself up for the possibility of extended metaphors, imagery, etc. Try to discover the "moral" of the story.

I am prone to surprise rides on the roller-coaster of depression. During, or right after, these times, my RPs will become exceedingly dark, and will almost always be tragedies.

I am prone to insanity. If you ever believe me to be... er... speaking something blatantly non-English, please alert me. I was probably sleep deprived and/or being forced to carry short people who jump on my back and shout "I'MMA TUMOR!"

*I define plot beyond what many people do. A plot isn't a story as far as I'm concerned, it's something that triggers emotions in the reader. If your story doesn't have that human aspect to it, that little something that makes it come alive and makes me empathize with the characters, then it has no plot.

**I firmly believe that characters are not stand-alone entities. Without the other characters interacting with them, and the DEPICTION OF THAT INTERACTION WITHIN THE ROLEPLAY, the characters fall flat.

    Preferred Category: Advanced

Preferred Genres: Scifi, Fantasy (no clichés*), Grim future, Mystery, Action/Adventure
*Eg. "An eternal war wages between elves, dwarves and orcs. It can only be ended by a warrior of pure heart wielding the crystal sword and defeating the evil lord of utter destruction and his demonic minions of slightly lesser destruction."

Preferred type of play: Multiplayer with secret character information (meaning that players have secrets from each other).

Extra information: In general I wish RP to be realistic and credible. By this I don't mean that I dispise magic, psychic powers or the like. Instead I mean that if somebody's head is smashed with a baseball bat then he's good as dead (or there's a very good reason why not).

All hidden gamemaster checks are fudged. All visible checks are also fudged. -Unknown

Postatem obscuri lateris nescitis. -Julius Caesar to barbarian tribes who opposed him instead of joining him (he was a movie fan, yes)

    Preferred Category: Advanced, maybe Casual

Preferred Genres: Fantasy, Modern Fantasy, Mission, Demon.

Preferred type of play: 3-7 players.

Extra information: Have written stories that I am deeply involved in, and seek to evolve them further. But, I am in no way restricted to just that. A good roleplayer can play anything, and if I'm interested i would be glad to play any part.

Preferred Category: Casual and Advanced (Don’t mind Basic though ><)

Preferred Genres: Fantasy (any type), Drama, Supernatural, Sci-Fi, Mystery, Action/Adventure, Fan-based (depends on the fandom in question)

Preferred type of play: Group is best… but I don’t mind One on One (as long as you like plot twists and you are dedicated)

Extra information: Though I did try out a fandom RP once, I do prefer those that are not fan-based. I like RPs that have a set storyline. It need not always be original. =P Don’t worry, I’m not the type that gets fixated with a particular idea/storyline… I do like a challenge/plot twist every now and then.

Just some notable weaknesses: Can’t really come up with original names for spells, fight scenes might not be spectacular … but I’m working on them! =P (You can find me lurking the arena sometimes)

Preferred Genres: Military, horror, sci-fi, apocalyptic, post-apocalyptic, survival, maybe a little bit of fantasy. Heros, aliens, zombies. Anything sufficiently out of the ordinary. No sparkly vampires or werewolves (gritty oldskool ones are ok), no academies or schools, etc.

Preferred Genre: High Fantasy settings with copious amounts of magic as the background; plot preferences shift constantly

Preferred type of play: Open RP with large groups

Extra information: I like worldbuilding, so I tend to favor RPGs that allow me to add my own ideas like, say, an original civilization.

TO BE UPDATED... I'm lazy with these sort of things...

    User name: LoveandDiscord
Preferred Category: Between Casual to Advance
Preferred Genres: Fantasy but currently playing modern to futuristic RP
Preferred type of play: 1:1 with a right partner, still exploring for satisfying group RP
Extra information: I look at the plot first, then create a character in it. If you read my ME2 writing, it flows like a book rather than turn a based interaction. I enjoy the character because of the plot, not the other way around. I also enjoy turn based RP (control only your character) as long as it has a good plot my character can develop with and other players post with a group experience in mind (it's not just about their character). I quickly get bored when; a) plot is either non-existing (aka players have no idea what to do) or poor quality, b) RP'ers are making no attempt to interact, c) Too much reading to do per day, or d) the IC fails to deliver what it promised.

Romance - I'm a hopelessly romantic and I like seeing it as part of the story, but not as a plot. When I say I love romance, it does not mean I'm starving for cyber-like immediate gratification of intimacy. In fact, I hate the quick fix of such sort. I'm looking for the experience of having romance that is earned and deserved between the characters following the context of the story.
My Writing & Time - I'm far from being a perfect writer and I revise to death only to find more errors on my grammar and spelling. But I do put a genuine effort to produce a good work on all my post. I always consider writing with the reader in mind. Why else would I write in public? My commitment level is 1 post/day, at most. I'm a slow writer with a very limited free time. Short to medium 3-5 paragraphs seems most reasonable for day's reading per post. Maybe higher commitment for 1:1 if I really like it... but in general, I don't like reading a full page of one post, nor do I enjoy reading 1-3 liners. To me, reading a book or RP-chatting is a better alternatives for that.

    Play within the structure.
Avoid spam descriptions, concentrate on showing.
It's the action of your character that matters not what -you- say about him/her.
Focus on the plot and the character will develop with it.
Don't write things that has no effect on the plot.
That's how I like to play.

Perfered Genre: It depends if its 1x1 or group, for a group I'm not too fussy, I like to try new things. 1x1 I like playing out D/s relations on the 's' side. Sometimes like normal mushy romance.

Preferred type of play: Right now I'm into the 1x1's but I don't mind a group.

Extras: Like I said, I like playing 1x1's where the other character is a more Dominant character, if you like that kind of thing, send me a PM and we can work something out!
