"You were fine where you were. Although i do agree you could have been closer to us. We got it done though. No one died... it was a good day." He said, rubbing his thumb on her hand. Out of all the things he's been to, he was always calm, but whenever he was near Ana, he was the opposite. Try as he might, he was never that great with women. But somehow she thought his clumsiness was cute, and he wasnt complaining.

Natalie finally made it back to base, and entered through the front. She quickly took it upon herself to commandeer the sun chips and to make sure that none went to waste. She got to work immediately, stuffing sun chips into her mouth and laying back on the torn couch that they had brought into the base. As Natalie continued half way through the bag, her mind started to wander back to the old memories. She smiled as she began to remember life before the invasion, before she became a " Ghost ", and even before she discovered sun chips. Natalie giggled a bit, but then the same dark memory that has haunted her all her life was back, and this time it would not be shrugged off ever so slightly. Natalie closed her eyes and tried to think of something else, but the memory engulfed her and she was forced to relive that fateful night in August, 12 years ago.

Ana smiled and leaned over to kiss his cheek. "as long as you're safe" she Leaned back a little and looked at the road "now we have to wait for the biker. Though I don't think he's a spy"

"I don't think so either... But there's only one way to find out." He said, letting to of her hand and taking his rifle. For the past few weeks he's been too worried about fighting, and about what was happening on the west coast, and the Wolverines... They should have some fun time, but not too wreckless when they do it. But now he was focused on the kid and who he was.

Todd watched move forward, then looked over in Crandall's direction. He would inform them of anyone coming. He then heard footsteps from behind, he quickly turned and aimed to see a refugee they took in a few days ago. He obviously sprinted here due to his heavy breathing. "Message from... West coast.... Wolverienes..." he said through breaths. Todd snatched the letter, glancing over it. He knew the original leader of the Wolverines, Jed, from the military. He wasnt close to the guy, but he knew enough that he was a natural leader and fighter...

He cussed softly. Since all electronic communications are gone, they have to smuggle letters or listen to the Patriot Radio, but their radio tower was busted a while ago... it read that almost all of the Wolverines were wiped out in San Francisco, with few scattered across the west coast... The Ghosts were the only large rebellion now....

(Sorry about today. I was sick. I'll try to give you a heads up next time.)
"Uh... Todd... want me to... end the biker when... uh if he gets here? He stopped a ways down the road." Crandall said into his walkie talkie, "He's uh... watching you guys with... binoculars... hid his bike... uh... he's prone... I got a shot..." Crandall focused on the biker. His helmet covering his face, but his visor was up. He was a white guy, didn't look Korean. He didn't look armed either, but he could have easily concealed it. He moved slightly, thinking they were the only two out there. Possibly debating if they were hostile or friendly. Some birds cooed overhead as they flew by. Crandall's concentration wasn't interrupted, his finger still steady on the trigger, a light sweat crossed over his left eye brow. He raised his hand slowly, his breathing light, his blinking nonexistent. He wiped the sweat from his face and grabbed the walkie talkie.
He brought it up to his mouth but remained silent, didn't have anything to say that he didn't already. The air was cool, not freezing not hot, just perfect. The birds were very active like they always were. Ever since the war, there were very few things that remained beautiful to him. One happened to be the cheerful singing of the birds around him.
Some people just want to watch the World Burn.

Tyler followed the taxi deep into the woods until it suddenly sped up and took to the subway. He jumped onto the tracks but as soon as he looked down the tunnel it was gone. "Damn." he said, catching his breath. He decided to keep going through the woods on his bike until he finally saw the taxi parked in a way that looked as if someone was trying to hide it. Tyler ditched the bike and climbed a nearby hill, laying down and looking in the direction of the taxi with his binoculars. He couldn't see much, other than a small camp. He didn't see any people, though. He decided to climb down the hill and sneak toward the camp. After all, he didn't know who was in the taxi. It could be a North Korean official, it could be a regular group of people, or it could even be the infamous Ghosts. He figured the last one was pretty unlikely, and guessed that it would be Koreans. He half crouched, half walked through the dense brush and hoped he wasn't seen, especially if they were Koreans.
Thanks to Lillian Thorne for the awesome sig!

Todd looked around, and eventually saw the soft glint if the lens of the binoclulars. Dang, his training was off. "No, dont fire... we'll suprise him, and if he attempts or looks like he's gonna shoot... well, you know." He said quietly, noticing the glare was gone. He motioned Ana to follow him as he silently went into the woods. His training made him practically silent. He walked around rifle up, trying to hear or see the person.

He spotted him. He was low to the ground, and hard to spot at first, but he managed. He silently picked up a stick on the ground, then threw it over the guy, making a large noise. As soon as he turned his head towards it, Todd sprinted and tackled the guy. "If you value iyour life, dont fight it." He said in korean. He saw the confusion on his face, he let him go. "Civilian?" He asked simply.

Natalie suddenly became worried. None of the team had come back, and she started to worry that they had been attacked. She picked up her walkie talkie, and hit the talk button. " Hey guys, you alright out there? I'm started to get a little worried. " She said into the walkie talkie, then letting the button go she sat down on the couch and awaited a response. If there even was someone to give a response. No, that wasn't the mindset that she had to have right now. She needed to be strong, and remember that the rest of the team had gone through stuff like this before.
