Pendulum.

I've liked them since way back when, where little else knew about them. And i've still liked them since. They're not a band I actively seek on youtube, but when I do i'm all "AW YEAH D&B MUAWFUCKA'S".

In saying that, Skrillex isn't that bad music wise. I wouldn't know if I'd give him the platform he has, but someone has to lead the dubstep scene more into culture. I'm neither anti or pro Skrillex. I don't see why his name harnesses so much polarity towards him but w/e.

In saying that however, I will say having met the guy in a club. He's really short, and he's got one of those smug quiet looks. Like a shit that won't flush, it looks at you all silent, but glad of itself like "ahaha i'm not leaving".

It's like meeting a geek a who's got the idea that the world hated him and never thought he'd be cool, but he's found some backdoor key that lets him enter. There's some attitude of his that's very irkesome about him, like he's all "haha I tricked you mainstream, WHO'S THE BIG DOG NOW?" in his head. Hopefully it's a phase.

Then again I was hitting on someone in his entourage, and failing. Sooooooo... hurrr 8D
