Gods of the Wasteland - Interest Check

The story is simple, the world has ended and humanity lies on the brink extinction, we play as celestial gods who have dropped from the heavens to make the final decisions of the end of the world, there are those that think humanity should be saved, and others who think it should be destroyed, and the rest just want to bring the world back to life. They fight amongst each other for this dominance with humanity almost ignorant of this great war, for the Gods need a key to bring about the end of the world and shape it in the way they want, the heart of the star that first gave life to the desolate rock that became earth, the long dead goddess known as Terra, her heart is hidden somewhere on the surface of Earth and the Gods seek it for its power.

I have most of the plot planned, and of course it's obvious that it will change along the way. There will be a few basic rules that people will have to follow, these are:

- No Godmodding. I know that God is in the name of the RP but even these gods are not invincible power houses.
- Romance is alright, even gods have emotions but keep things tasteful and if you want to get into detail move that stuff to your PM's
- NPC characters can be created as they are survivors in the wasteland and interaction with them is inevitable, NPC's can be used by other players with the creators consent. (Although exceptions can be made)
- Do not kill off other players without their consent.
- In prolonged activity without reports of reasons will result in a boot from the RP, a 1 week grace period will be put into effect if a warning is not left in the OOC.
- Keep in mind that this will not have a set Posting Order, and instead I'll trust that you, the players, will only post once a minimum of 2 other players have posted after you. This is to keep the RP from entering a Ping-Pong stage between two players and their interactions.

Quick question. Are we limited to gods that are recorded in mythology or is it open to creation. If you want, I'll send you a pm with the details of the character I have in mind.
