I still think this is an awesome idea, however last time it quickly turned into something I wasn't really hoping for.
there was just a lot of heroic combat and virtually nothing else. (although, to be fair, we had only just started when it suddenly died.)
are you going to do things a little bit differently, or simply retry our last attempt?

I wanted to get the combat done quickly and then we could start to introduce the main concepts of the role play and the major players, but as you mentioned the role play died before the combat even ended.
I'm going with a different plot thread this time, and I plan on keeping combat on the down low, unless you guys seek it out of course.
