Cyberpunk Int check

I plan on starting a third game her in advanced. My other two are slowly but steadily moving foraward and I feel i have the inspiration and time to handle a third one. This game will follow some unusally strict parimiters for being a game of mine. There will be clear rules for what you can ave and not have as Cyberpunk tends to invite the most outragous one man armies. This will not be combat driven, Instead it will be about espionage, crime and exploring the human and machine interaction. Further more the setting istelf is a bit of a mix between 60's pulp and noir stories and Modern day cyberpunk and futurism.


The focus will be on a cast of character (the players)who are all part of Singularity City, a expremental UN project thats built ontop of what once Chigago. This massive scientific and tech heavy City is a kind of open lab enviroment. its the only place on eart where so called "Progressive AI's" are allowed. That is sentient, self evolving AI's usually in the form of humanoid Androids. Its also a mmelting pot of UN led fuel and enegry resarch, Chinese and American counter intelligence and a multitude of unsavory organizations working in the shadows. The City itself is as giant skyscraper, with the lower levels becoming increasingly crowded and miserble.

Yep. I'll most likely be in on this. I'm a big fan of cyberpunk - as if you couldn't tell by the enormous Guide to Cyberpunk I stuck in the Articles section. I really need to make a Volume II of that.

Glad to see some interest. I am in the works of writing The political backdrop to this. Aka how the world have changed politically and nation wise. Some of it may seem a bit far fetched at first, but trust me when everything I write have some basis in todays politics . The Technology will be based on a "singullarity" leap. Aka a sudden, very revolutionary discovery. Much like The industrial revulotion was.

Well a common trope/theme in sci-fi/cyberpunk is to have society as a whole undergo a rapid, drastic change as a result of technological innovation and have the "old guard" of politics and some big business struggling to keep up with the new realities of the world.

You know, like we've been having over the last ten years or so.
