She smiled as the light turned red, pulling to a stop before turning her rear-view mirror so that she could see her own reflection as opposed to those behind her. She checked her make-up and laid her hair smooth before glancing up just in time to see the light turn green again. She quickly readjusted her mirror, ignoring a honk from behind her as she took off again. Summer vacation had been kind to her, it was obvious that she had spent some time down at the beach, her skin had a slight sun-kissed look. It wasn't likely to last long, her skin was fair by nature, and she loved that about herself. She pulled into the school parking lot, cutting off another car to take the closest spot available and then shooting a winning grin back in it's direction. She took another minute to smooth out her hair, one of the few drawbacks to having a converatable, before opening the door and stepping out. She wore a white halter top that accentuated her upper body nicely and stopped just above her naval, coupling it with a jean mini-skirt and a pair of runway heals. Her hair had been pulled into a loose ponytail that hung over her right shoulder and she walked with a graceful proud way about her, she loved her body and it was obvious, chosing to wear clothes that accentuated her fine features without overdoing it, her skirt just long enough that nobody would see anything she didn't want them to see, and the top just high enough that it covered her most valuable of assets, and yet both just revealing enough to make others want to see more. Her toned legs swayed back and forth as she headed into the school, placing a pair of sunglasses on the top of her head in a decorative way.

Pulling her locker open she eye'd her reflection, taking a moment to apply some shimmering lip gloss and checking to make sure the rest was as flawless as she left with that morning. Smiling, a look of satisfaction on her face she deposited her books from her bag. She had come a couple of days early to get her schedule, that way she didn't have to spend all morning waiting in line, she had more important things to focus on. A new year meant a new cheerleading team, she had been given team captain the year before and she was ready to begin.

"Take your time, Walter." Ryan Johnson stated as the car rolled down the street.
With the summer over he was going to go back to the cold prison of Degrassi High. It was not that he did not like the people at Degrassi as much as he should. Okay that might exactly be the case because he preferred his summer down in his grandparents Miami residence. In time his homesickness for the summer life would evaporate and he would adjust back to his life at Degrassi.

He started to feel more at home when the jet black stretch car pulled by the front of Degrassi High. Then the door near the back popped open similar to how the truck of a car rises up rather than the door of an actual car. All you could see of the inside was the skinny brown haired boy climbing his way out of the seats. The door slowly closed behind him as he waved at the driver "See you, Walter." Ryan yelled as the car preceded to drive away. Ryan then felt his hand against his gelled back brown hair and took a look at his leather dress shoes that were shined to perfection. He passed a window only to notice his jeans and red t-shirt covered by an open black dress shirt. Ryan usually wore no designer labels because he did not like to associate himself with any particular group.

He then reached into his pocket and pulled out his schedule that he had Walter pick up for him some time ago. This would save him the trouble of waiting around to receive his schedule when he could be doing something interesting. Ha interesting in this kind of place. Then he walked by the hot girls lockers seeing who has taken a dramatic change over the summer. He was too cool to approach anyone but he saw that every cheerleader was looking good after that short summer. After he was done with his little stroll he proceeded to find something else better to do in his spare time before class.

Ethan walked back over to where he had parked his convertible outside the elementary school. It was the first day of school for both him and his little step sister Delilah. Julie wasn't much of a morning person which meant the responsibility of getting Delilah feed and to school on time fell on him. As he turned on the ignition he turned on the radio and put the top down on the car, then after checking his mirrors he pulled off from the curb and drove to Degrassi.

The Andersons had only landed back in Canada a couple of hours earlier. As usual Ethan spent the his summer in Cali and he was defiantly going to miss the his summer home back on the beach. The majority of his sleep he had gotten on the plane on the way back and he was exhausted but as he parked his car in the student parking lot observing the student body around him Ethan's tiredness vanished. He suddenly felt wide awake and he was pretty excited to be back. The start of a new year meant a new season and he couldn't wait to get back to being on the football field.

Grabbing his bookbag from the passenger seat next to him he exited his car and started his first day back of high school. Walking over to were a couple of the other jocks stood huddled in a group talking of their summers Ethan joined the group. One of his best friends Tristan had gotten his schedule for him which Ethan was happy about because now he didn't have to wait on the long line that was usually filled of new freshman. Collecting his boys they entered to school holding a sense of entitlement, as they walked through the halls Ethan could feel the gaze of peoples eyes on him and he liked it. Being a jock and on top of the that the captain of both the football and basketball team Ethan was welled know within the walls of Degrassi. As he walked down the halls to his locker every few feet he walked he was either called over or stopped by someone one who knew him. A couple of the cheerleaders who spotted him embraced him and hugged him asking him questions about his summer, he answered the questions with brief responses. It took him about fifteen to minutes get through the sea of students and to his locker and once he through his bookbag inside, it was the first day of school and he knew he wouldn't need much of anything to get through the day,.
