Well, my idea is to have them have a romantic past before. Then he goes off to fight in the war because her parents kingdom is at war with another kingdom. Then when he returns, he is a decorated hero and he gets a choose of his prize for finishing or putting the war on pause. So his chooses are to marry his lover (the princess) or to be able to take a break from war. So I figure we could start when he is returning to the city. So they have to like hide their emotions to see each other until they can have some time alone. And then I figure to add some excitement he could have taken her virginity before he left and she ends up pregnant and she has to tell him before he picks what prize he wants.
He must be a knight. He can come home slightly injured (broken ribs or sprained arm) or not at all (Bruises and a few scratches). They have to have a past! She doesn't have to be pregnant. Once he marries her though he is no longer a knight and he will become a prince, taking her fathers place when it is his time to pass on. Not only will he become the prince, his family will also become royalty and be able to move into the castle with him. I want the war to still be going on. The war isn't completely over. The princesses kingdom has the upper hand thanks to him.
Now I don't want this full of fantasy. But I want them to be at war with Centaurs that have their own kingdom, but they are power hungry and want more land knowing the more land they have, the more people they over rule. Now, they can kidnap her if you wish, before the wedding so it is postponed, so they think they have leverage over the kingdom. But they don't because he could save her, showing the king that he really does care and love his daughter. The best thing is for the two of them though, they no longer have to sneak off together to see each other.
No limits to blood, romance, gore, cussing. This thread can be done thread, PM, or email. Character sheets are a yes. Photos are a yes. Out of character post doesn't matter to me. I have the thread type up already. Can add more or I might add more.
