In an Alternate Timeline, Harry Potter was unable to defeat the Dark Lord. Voldemort and his followers took over the wizarding world completely and murdered every last magical being that ever did Harry Potter a kindness.*
Five years on, there are still rebellions and revolts in the name of the Potter boy. In an attempt to intimidate all witches and wizards, Lord *Voldemort created an event in which six young witches and wizards from each Hogwarts house between the ages of 11 and 18, must fight to the death in a no-rules battle until only one remains.
This pageant shall henceforth and forevermore be known as The Hogwarts Games.

- This is obviously a crossover between the Hunger Games and Harry Potter but please, no canon characters. . .
- No Godmodding. This also means, your character CAN die.
- The only weapons are wands, but no one is overly powerful. The unforgivable curses can be used but remember, they are only children and have never had experience in doing so before.
- Max. of three characters, but they can't a be in the same house! Characters must also be accepted. I do actually recommend making more than one since it is likely your character will die.
- No constant fighting. This is also about survival.

Unforgivable Curses
Avada Kedavra - Otherwise known as the killing curse. Mostly, only skilled witches and wizards can perform this though less powerful beings can cause some damage with it. The curse can be physically dodged or blocked with an object. It can also be interrupted with a Stunning spell (Stupefy) which will cause an eruption of red and green sparks causing no damage to either opponent. (Don't just use this spell. . . These are children who would probably not have ever learnt these and be afraid to use them. There are other spells!)
The Cruciatus Curse - Used for torture, though to be effective the user must really mean it. Can drive a wizard mad. Incantation: Crucio.
Imperio - Puts an opponent under the users command, but can be broken or fought. (NOTE: No Godmodding here please!)

Personality: Lacey is known for her reckless behaviour and will often go out of her own way in order to prove someone or something wrong. For all the right reasons, of course. Lacey has a heart of gold as every true Gryffindor should.

Info: Lacey hates the games. She hates the fact that every year, twenty-three children are mercilessly slaughtered. But most of all, she hates the Ministry. How could they ever let something so brutal and disgusting happen?
So, the thing about Lacey is that her family are close and friendly with the Death Eaters, but Lacey has completely different ideas. All but Lacey were put into Slytherin and none of her family were ever chosen for the games (conveniently). Lacey wasn't chosen either, she volunteered for a shaking little eleven year-old boy and stood at the front, eyes forward and with no sense of pride.*

Personality: She will overthink nearly every situation, though her teamwork skills leave little to be desired. To the point where she will demand people leave the room as they are distracting her by being present. Her greatest weapon would be her mind, though she isn't one to put these skills into practise.
House: Ravenclaw
Info: Chloe is someone that nobody liked, and everyone loved to hate. While she didn't care for their opinions they tried very hard to make her listen to a bombardment of bullying, to which she would retaliate with beautiful information. She would simply listen to others conversations and absorb any information she could use, and then coincidently mention it whilst relevant parties where present. The more notorious occasions where revealing a slytherins multiple relationships he was having at the same time, or the discovery of a certain teacher trying to keep a certain student out the games. When she was pulled out and chosen for the game, he did the only thing logical, open a book and started to read.

Info: Dahlia is a Muggle-Born witch from South-West London and arrived at Hogwarts at the beginning of this year. It was actually very difficult for Dahlia to get into Hogwarts as those without close, wizarding family are thought to have stolen their powers. Luckily, one of her mother's cousins is a witch and therefore, Dahlia was granted access.
Since then, Dahlia has made friends and learnt new things; the thought of the games didn't even cross her mind. . . Until the Reaping. Now Dahlia must fight against those much older than herself and much more powerful with only one year's training in magic.

Personality: Gwen's one of those people who don't give a damn about... Well, anything really! She's pretty laid-back and calm about everything. And almost everyone says she's lazy, but in truth she just can't be bothered to put the effort in.

Info: Gwendolyn isn't one of those Slytherin's who push Hufflepuffs over in the corridor or shove their pureblood status in everyone's faces. No, Gwen couldn't care less about any of that. She comes from a high class pureblood family and even her father is a Death Eater but Gwen's views remain indifferent.
Gwen is somewhat of a Potions prodigy. . . At least she would be if she put the effort in. Gwen prefers to settle with acceptable rather than extraordinary though be cautioned, she may slip poison into your pumpkin juice.
And another thing. Just because Gwen's not horrible to you don't just assume she's nice. She couldn't care less about you and your problems, so don't go crying to her. You have been warned kiddies.
