Plasma is very strong and lasers are powerful aswell, but most i would assume are not continuous so they wont danger his race.

I changed the traght up immunity to light and medium anti-troop weapons to light and medium energy based anti-troop weapons
so you could kill one that is not wearing armor with projectile based weapons allot more effectively than trying to kill with lasers and plasma

If he's saying "it takes longer for that to work" and such would most likely be refering to "longer to work on them then normal squishy human skin", which would be perfectly valid. Just as long as they aren't better then what a bulletproof vest can do, I don't see much of a problem. It seems like it would effect them, they are just more defended then most skin would be.
The thing is, plasma and lasers will have no issues melting through metal.

they take allot more heat than most metals do and lasers will get refracted off of their shiny hides so unless it is constantly applied than it doesn't really affect them.

Alright, to be fair to Pyrak, my Warrior Kenris are stronger and faster than most humans, and their skin is tough enough to take light-arms fire, but in my case, i made their skin about as strong as the average armor that they would be wearing anyway. but their skin couldn't take a Shotgun or even multiple Machine-gun hits, you have claimed that each of your own guys could withstand all but Heavy weapons, so it would take a Cannon-blast to take out just one...
