Lol Deviantart.
I'm trying to decide whether I should have the homepage set to show me Most Popular (x length of time), or Newest. Because one means I get to see good art consistently, while the other means I'll be more likely to see up-and-coming artists who are good, but not popular yet.
Also, because I know someone will say it: I'm too lazy to do more than scroll down, skim the stuff on the first page, and then move on. So doing both isn't an option I'm going to go for![]()
I have mine set to most popular within the last 24 hours. I've found quite a few artists that I probably wouldn't have otherwise come across because of it. If I want to see consistently good artwork, I already know where to go to look for it, so I prefer having DA surprise me with things I wouldn't have otherwise known about.

Newest. Probably should change that because DA's new front page pisses me off something fierce. Click show me more, and half the time you just get the same images as you begin scrolling at the same rate as shit is uploaded.
Lol yeah
Maybe.
I'll need to paint half my face bloody first. Kind of a time investment there.
Even with within 24 hours, you generally still only see the more popular artists. But yeah, I used to have it set to that for months, and it's the main one I'm considering switching back to.
I don't bother to click "Show Me More". More than ten seconds of casually perusing? Nosiree.
Yeah, basically. Perhaps once or twice a day I'll see something good right now =P
