Tesla is the worlds most dapper corpse. He weards rather oldschool, dandy style clothing and even kept his mustache. albeit less bushi and more trimmed. But his hair has been swept back as he tried to at least differentiate himself from his old self a bit. His eyes are as vivid as ever and a light shade of brown and his hair is black. He looks younger from when he died, a result of the constant currents of energy running within him. He favors dark colors in his clothes such as dark grey and deep marine blue. As a physical specimen he stands a striking 6'2 tall, with a fairly decent if gangly physique. This mainly due to the genius Serbian scientist had been fond of exercise while mortal.
The Immortal Coil, God Of Elecromagnetism
Description of Powers:
: Tesla is living energy at this point. The world beats to his heart in a way. This means he has minute control of surrounding electricity as long as it belongs to anything man made. This includes things like turning on and off currents within machinery, creating magnetic fields and polarizing metals.
This does not include causing lightning from the sky nor does it let him shoot lightning unless he has the proper equipment.
: While a pragmatic, intelligent and overall genius mind, Tesla is also petty, proud and a little bit arrogant. He was senile at his death, something that has only cleared somewhat. Now that he is what essentially is a walking corpse he believes in gods, and that they are all dicks.
Born to a father who revered God, the boy genius from the then prospering Austrian empire had many dreams. Most of them scientific, to the point he wanted to harness the Niagara falls themselves. Blessed with everything from eidic memory to being cursed with OCD in a era that had no idea how to handle it, he was obsessive in his pursuits.
His mind baffled his teachers who thought all to often that he was cheating. In fact, he could master their mathematics within his own mind. His father however, wanted to make him a priest, not a scientist. But fate would act differently. In fact upon returning home from finishing gymnasium, he came close to death as he caught cholera. His father only then agreed on letting him pursue his true destiny. That of science.
Not one to go to war, he soon managed to avoid being drafted by absconding off into nature. Here, he spent time reading and exploring. Making the mountains his home and growing physically more able and healthy in the process.
After attending Austrian Polytechnic and subsequently being kicked out over a dispute, Tesla became a gambler. A poor one at that. HE lost most of his money, got into debt and began to curse god. However, he once more persevered and later became quite the apt gambler, winning back his money. Gambling faded from his interest after time but the damage was done. He never finished his studies. Distraught by this, he cut ties with his family and disappeared for a while, faking his death. He later ended up in Prague by the help of his uncle where he began his career as a innovator.
He later relocated to New York here he met his rival; Eddison. He worked for Eddison, helping the man and made the latter machines far better and more efficient. Instead of praise and rewards, he was cheated out of his money. This caused bitterness in the man and he left Eddisons company. He began to invent things trough out the years, gaining notoriety and renown for hiis genus. He invented many wonderful things and revolutionized the use of electrity to the point where he invented the remote control. This was the height of his genius and popularity. At last he became the foremost mind in the world. Or so he thought at least. In truth, this was not entirely true. He shared the same epoch as Einstein after all.
As the years progressed, he got weaker and more senile. His love for this world was unchanged and his disdain for other hatred was one of his few redeeming qualities as he otherwise grew bitter with mankind. He was massive in debt and his reputation had long been ruined by senile acts and OCD behavior. Upon his death, he was not forgotten, but his legacy was tarnished as other hogged the fame for several of his inventions.
Give or take a few decades. One day, the knowledge of Eddisons selfish acts and the growing interest in Tesla among younger people on the internet saw a flash hit the mans grave. Nicola Tesla dug himself out, deprived of any memory of his death. He was buzzing with electricity and he felt as if his siniltity was gone. But even for a genius it took him awhile to realize what happened. Once he understood however, he was terrified and delighted both. The world was like a massive H.G Wells novel and he loved ts technology. But man was more hateful then ever and his friend Albert Einsteins genius had been used for war. His theories themselves were many times outdated and the man, true to his pre-god life, read books for years straight simply to catch up. No longer needing to eat or sleep he would do nothing but read and explore his powers. He also once more found his passion for gambling, which brought him to Las Vegas.
