    Triumphant Return
    .
The transfer process had gone almost unexpectedly smoothly while escorting the wounded cat out of the danger zone of Shanty City. Veltirinus Elscapades the Third, otherwise known as Veltry, was the man who had lead that "daring rescue mission", as he calls it. He was now resting in a suit of golden, glittering armor inside of the helicopter that had picked the group up, comprised of him and his security team, after his previous ride had gotten him safely out of the city. Normally, escaping by helicopter from a city of thugs would involve some dramatic firefight taking place, but for him there was none, even if he'd like to pretend that it was in one such hail of gunfire that he swooped in to save the cat from certain death. The exact details of the story went more like this; the cat made a poorly executed jump, knocking herself out and then Veltry pretended to be it's owner to take her back to his mansion. He did run into thugs at one point, but with his powers and their stupidity he was able to get them under his mind control long enough to carry out the rest of his plan uneventfully. The cat, which was now in the form of a girl, was still unconscious from the fall, but he had medical staff back at his mansion who could help her recover.
    .
Said cat girl, who was strapped into the seat across from him, her head bobbing limply up and down with the turbulence from their flight, was as adorable as Veltry could have possibly hoped to imagine. He put a great deal of pride into his collection of cuteness, so she'd fit right in. In fact, he'd say that a cat girl not only fit in, but was actually a vital part of any such collection, quite possibly ranking even higher on the cuteness scale then the maid security forces that he employed. He loved normal cats as well, which was actually what drew his attention to this one to begin with. He knew a rare cat when he saw one, but even he didn't know that she was actually able to turn into a cat girl until it actually had happened. Double lucky! He opened his eyes from his pleasant nap and began to drunkenly hum a merry tune while he waited for their arrival at his estate. The maids strapped in next to him exchanged quick glances; not of surprise, but instead had looks conveying "here he goes again". Some of them found it funny, while others appeared like their ears were about to explode from the sheer tone deafness that Veltry often had when it came to drunken merry tunes. Before he was about to get even louder, he was interrupted by one of them looking out the window and saying, "We're here", almost as if to shut him up.
    .
"Oh goodie! Drinks all around!" He exclaimed happily, either forgetting or not caring that some of the passengers were underage, or that they were his security guards who probably shouldn't be drunk in the first place.
    .
The helicopter landed in an empty field in front of his mansion as the maids patrolling the area stood in a circle around the landing zone and gave him salutes as he exited out of the doorway. He was planning on building a landing pad on the roof of the mansion soon, but for now he'd have to make do with what he had, which was honestly quite a bit already. Maids followed closely behind him as he strolled victoriously up to the front door of his mansion. Two of the maids unbuckled the cat girl from her seat and carried her off to the nurse's office on the third floor of his mansion. Meanwhile, he'd go to the Day Bar and get another thing to drink to celebrate before the actual celebration party that he had planned for tonight in anticipation of his success.

Meow had been dreaming the entire time she was unconsious. It was if she was being peted just in the right spot in a sea of good sensations at first. It eventually shifted into a a feeling of dread aproaching her as her mind seemed to slowly fade away. This feeling of dread soon took shape in the form of a large mass of spirits she came to know as Sellium. It seemed to take the form of a large neer human shaped statue with energy pillars extendimg from it. In there yellowy glow they mirrored a hawk spreading it's wings overhead. She could feel her mind draining constantly as it looked at her untill she finally woke up. When she did she would find herselt nude and quickly switching to her cat form the wound as far progressed in her cat form as ot was in her human. She hissed at the maids for her current pain turning to keep alert. At least till she noticed her own blood puddle then she would freak trying to escape.

The maids were just about ready to change the wounded catgirl into a fresh pair of clothes and wash the blood away, when all of a sudden she woke up at this most inopportune time. They apparently didn't have their employers luck, because this process would only have taken a few minutes before she would be all patched up. Just when they were about to try and explain the situation, the girl turned into her cat form and began to hiss at them as if they had done something wrong. Upon seeing the pool of blood the cat began to freak out even further, which could potentially cause her to hurt herself even more then she already had. No wonder she had gotten that head injury.
    .
"Somebody, catch her! You, close the door!" One of them shouted, moving in to try and contain the flurry of fur and claws that would soon be trying a desperate escape attempt. She clearly had experience at apprehending cats on the loose in this mansion before, but with this one's human intelligence and magical abilities it could be even harder then normal, so she was not to be underestimated. One of the group rushed off to shut the cat inside while the other four also joined in to try and grab the cat, attempting to pin her down so that they can explain the situation to her. Hopefully, nobody would have to get hurt.

Meow ran around in circles as if playing laps around the table. Strange people strange place she had no memory of anything like this all she remembers was something about a melon. She tried to think as she kept turning right slowly. In her confused state she managed to get a few thoughts in during the chaos they went something like this "Were am i... who are these people.... Why is this path so long and repetitive." She started to get tired and out of energy from a mix of the injury and exercise as she sneezed barely avoiding one of the maids. As she celebrated her victory she would more then likely be picked up by the back of the neck by another maid. She would hang there and meow as she had no memory of her mother ever holding her like this. In all honesty she never had a mother but she could only remember with in the past month knowing that creatures had parents. Her arms would dangle down as she meowed in a manner that gave the impression of a i surrender.

"That was...unexpectedly easy," thought the maid who had snatched the cat by the back of her neck. In fact, most normal cats had provided much more difficult then this one, who already appeared to have given up. If she still had the humanlike intelligence that they originally thought she had, she clearly wasn't showing it with this poor display. "Tell Master Veltirinus that she's awake," she ordered, "the rest of you, let's get her cleaned up." One of them cautiously approached her with a bandage to wrap her in, wondering if the cat would make another attempt to escape as soon as she was released. The one holding her appeared to be skeptical as well, but she'd have to let her go sooner or later. Walking over to the bed, she carefully dropped her down onto the clean sheets as the rest closed in all around her to help.
    .
Meanwhile, Veltry had just downed his second drink when he got the good news. He excitedly tried to get off the bar stool, but his weight and poorly executed dismount caused him to go crashing down loudly onto the floor.
    .
"Stupid armor!" He complained, now squirming on the ground, fumbling around as he was trying his best to remove the pieces. The maids around him did their best to assist him, which was equal parts trying to get him not to hurt himself, but at last they succeeded, revealing a wrinkled up tuxedo with a wine stain underneath. They helped him to his feet and guided him to the room that they were keeping her in, up on the third floor. The elevators to that floor required special cards to access, which only around ten of his maids had possession of. In this case it was a woman with green skin and pointy ears; not his standard maid but one that he had developed a liking for. She scanned her card at the elevators entrance and the rest of the maids, who were now practically carrying Veltry, filed in behind her. It wasn't too much longer until they had managed to navigate through the fancy corridors and enter the room assigned to the cat.
    .
"Well hellow therr-" he slurred upon seeing the cat. Normally he was good at holding his liquor, but as of late he had been having more drinks then normal. "I'm Veltry, and you'er?" He tried to stand up himself, but stumbled forward and face planted onto the ground near the bed.

She did not resist when held but rather pawed at and tried to lick her hand. Either from dreariness or this feeling she got from this grabbing of her neck, she had forgotten about her earlier attempts to escape and relaxed letting her back legs dangle more and her tail fall down from were it was. The man entered the room apparently poisoned for some reason probably came for aid himself. He asked her a strange question though to ask a cat. So she simply answered with her name "Meow!" it was silent and smooth unlike most cats meows it didn't have much vibration to it. For some reason the meow seemed to have a modest approach to it even if it was just a vat noise

"M-meow...very well," Veltry replied while still sprawled out on the ground, having trouble discerning if that was her name, if her voice had been reduced to that of a cat, or if she was just toying with him to make him believe that the second option was the case. Either of these scenarios was actually quite adorable now that he thought about it, so he didn't mind her reply at all and was perfectly willing to play along with her little game. "Welcome to my mansion, Lady Meow." At that point he tried to give a bow as well as he was able too, but it looked like he was just falling down again because he had only gotten about halfway up by that time. In fact, that bow did end up making him fall back down after all. He lazily decided that it would be easier to just lay on the nice comfy ground for now. "Would you like anything at all? My maids will forever be at your service." While he was drunk he could sometimes get worked up if something horrible was going on, but otherwise he'd become almost overboard easy going and polite as he was now. It didn't help that he had trouble saying no to a cute face of a kitty, so he was almost completely at her mercy, just as much as the people effected by his own commands would be. The maids would have to slap some sense into him should he go too overboard.
