Welcome to The Imperial Jasmanian Empire... Our Great Emperor, Pu-Ling has fallen ill and passed on. Now the Imperial Senate struggles to find a new heir to the throne and factions throughout the empire are rising. In the native colony of Dunjal natives are hailing a mystery figure as their new 'Vox'. Within our very own cities the Zenrokyo, a Radical-Left trade-union, has begun its ascent to popularity in the politics of the Empire as their leader Jackmier Karkaff declares 'The Death of the Empire and Rise of the Republic'. The Imperial Jasmanian Watch: The Imperial Jasmanian Watch, or IJW, is the policing faction of the Empire. Since the creation of the Empire hundreds of years ago, The Watch has stood guard prepared to defend their royal majesty and his/her noble ministry and senate. With the rising tensions in the homeland and in Dunjal, The Watch has been ordered to act as though Martial Law had been declared. Now corrupt in the ranks has increased and the brutality of the officers has become disgusting. Great change is at hand for the Watch and her royal service-men.

The Zenrokyo: The Zenrokyo is a Radical-Left underground trade-union that had been banned by the late Emperor Ling. Now with the death Emperor the Unionists have risen from their hiding places and begun rioting in the streets. With each drop of blood that is spilled on either side; tensions rise and more violence is caused. Within the Zenrokyo group, there is already talk of armed-revolution at hand, but the issue is still under discussion...

The Native Dunjal Tribe: Many years ago, Dunjal was taken by Jasmanian Royal Navy on a expedition led by Admiral Park-Sung-Jen. Ever since the defeat of the Tribes to Jasmania, the people of the small island have been taxed, opressed, and many sent to labor camps. Now with the death of Pu-Ling, the Natives see the time has come to regain their rightful land from the Jasmanians!

The Citizens of Jasmania: Within the mainland of the Empire, there are two classes. The Nobles, largely Officials within the Senate and families that own factories and farms; and the 'Peasants' these are the lower-class citizens that work in the factories, shops, and all other types of employment besides Imperial business. The life of a Peasant is decent, as long as you are smart and avoid gangs and the Watch. With the death of the Emperor the Nobles fear for their continued nobility and control within the nation, and the non-Zenrokyo Citizens see it as a dark time of change ahead...

There are multiple large cities that dot the territories all across the world, and Jasmania is no exception.

Erzurum is one of the major port cities that lie within Jasmania due to it's location geographically. It is home to the Jasmanian Navy, yet also shelters a black market that undermines the city's fine reputation.

Chennai is a city that represents the cultural minority from Dunjal, and multiple other locations. Most citizens are impoverished immigrants, and the cioty has a rather low crime
rate.

Bandung is a immensely large agriculture community, consisting of noble livestock; vegetable, market, grain, and fruit farmers. It helps supply much of Jasmania's agricultural needs.

Bishkek is a wonderful city that displays the cultural heritage of the Jasmanian people. It is a spot of heavy tourism, and attracts worldwide attention. The city is virtually free of all crime, only adding to it's appeased reputation.

Jeddah is a mountainous, wintery landscape, dotted with ore and mineral mines all around. Snow is commonplace, but not in vast volume, rarely hindering it's denizens. Most transport into the city is conducted through Zeppelins. Jeddah has a higher crime rate than everyone would like, especially since the death of the monarch.

Makassar is a city of royalty and rather high security. It represents the wealth of the nation, it is populated by aristocrats and politicians alike. The city, due to it's close location to the Empire's capital, the crime in the city is rather low.

Nablus is the Capital of the Jasmanian Empire, the Imperial Court, and Senate reside with in the city as well. The city is very well defended and shares a high number of noble men and women. With recent events in tow, the city is now militarized.

Yerevan hold's one of the nation's largest industrial sectors, producing many good's for citizens. Lumber is also processed in the region. Most notably about the city is it's Red-Light District, that traffics humans on a daily basis.

Abenaki is a colony built by the Jasmanians on Dunjalian soil, it is a port city that sends most of it's goods to Erzurum. Dunjal tribals are rarely allocated to enter the city, let alone be inside eye's view of the city. It is one of the few militarized cities in the land.

Jasmanians: Jasmanians are the accepted nationality of the Empire, and are the majority race. Jasmanians are often looked better upon then say a Dunjal native or one from the mystic Far-Lands.

Dunjal Natives: The Dunjal had lived on their island for thousands of years, and only two hundred years ago did the Jasmanian tyrants appear on their beaches. After a bloody war the Dunjal island was declared property of the Empire and the Dunjal third-class citizens. Natives that live on the Jasmanian homeland are often laborers, cleaners and the like, and are treated as such by the Jasmanian nobility.

Far-Landers: Far-Landers are men and women from 'The Far-Land' a mysterious jungle-like grouping of islands that rests some ways from the Empire. Far-Landers are the oddity of the Empire's citizen ranking and are simply second-class. From Jasmanian exploration of the Far-Land, it is said a majority of the Far-Land people believe in Black-Magic. This is only rumor of course...

Due to the up and rising anarchy and revolts, you can create your own faction, be a lowly citizen, or join The Watch. You have to join factions ICly, in the RP, you may not join said faction through your application, excluding The Watch. Most of the land will be torn asunder by revolts, please contact a GM if you wish to own territory or if you simply don't know if your action will be acceptable.

-Pistols are rather common, but very rarely will you see muskets, which are used by The Watch
-Crossbows are less common among factions, and are usually employed as recreational use, such as hunting.
-Swords, noting special really. Be warned, holding two swords is unacceptable in society, and is not allowed.

Personality: Evil and Cruel. He is called the dark Lord because of what he has done to this enemies. The Cruel nature of his extends to everyone and he will not hesitate to kill a friend to make a point. He does not trust anyone not even his wife who is locked up for various of reasons.

Background: Thomas grew up in noble society. He was taught in the finest schools and learned how to wield a sword and fight. But that all stopped once his father was killed by someone working for the emperor. after that incident he decided that the only way to avenge his father was to create a group that will target supporters of the emperor and kill high ranking members of the government. But it did not end their. His group also targeted those deemed to be second class citizens and those he felt did not fit in with society as whole. After this he then found out that his mother was not who she seemed and thus he killed her and his brothers and sisters so that he would take full control of the riches of his father. Once he had the family riches he then moved on making his group or faction official. First he called it Restituet Imperii or Restoring the Empire. Which meant that he was going to make the nation back into a empire but he was make sure that no second classes citzens would ever work in it. Nor should they live in the city that the empire controlled.

Thomas late father used to be a close adviser to the Emperor while his mother was the close adviser to the empress and other officals high up in the chain of command of the Government. His brothers and sisters worked various jobs in the Empire with his younger brother being a mere blacksmith and his sister a waitress in a run down inn. Thomas on the other hand worked in the government but on the lower levels

Other: Although cruel, Thomas does has a heart and thus is why his wife is still alive. He loves her dearly but can not show that love to is supporters. Who want men to control everything and woman be second class citizens.

I will agree with Snippy and say that for the Faction sheet you can simply add it to your Character sheet. I will also say that a faction that is player-made will not be able to take on a large Watch force or a Zenrokyo force most of the time, these factions are mostly those who want their own piece of the Empire. But if the RP is done right I and Snippy will be okay with a new Emperor taking the throne in attempts to end the anarchy. I assume that this may happen at least once or twice.
