Well... Traits are only really there to make sure people don't believe they're a jack-of-all-trades, and that if someone with a higher stat does something according to it, then they'll do it better. Essentially, it's only good for solving disputes between players, but if you're going to be using dice then traits are technically necessary. Whatever you want. Personally I'm all up for traits and dice.
