I love this picture, so much.

It shows that guys go through rough things in their lives, too. We're not invincible, and we're not stone. We've got those little 'masks' that hide our true feelings, and hide any sign of it.

I'll point out the things I definitely can relate to: Alcohol, Broken Family, Broken Friends, Have been hurt, Watched my Mom get strangled, Piece of Shit, no expert at love.

This picture is just seriously amazing.

I like that it clearly paints a picture of the things that people go through, and yet hide them like skeletons in the closet.

This all hit me much harder than it should have, for several reasons. The first of which being the words themselves, and "I have watched my Mother being strangled" in particular. It brought me back to a very difficult time. Without going into too much detail, she was suffering and there was absolutely nothing I could do to make any of it stop. I just had to watch someone who was always so strong, deteriorate and wither.

This part ^ is something I've been preaching for... god knows how long. The tough guy image that's projected onto men doesn't represent actual reality, and can be very damaging. Boys are taught at a very young age that it is not acceptable for there to be anything feminine about them, and that if there is that they should reject it... because that's gay... or whatever. Sensitivity, that which is emotional, falls under that list of feminine qualities. Rejecting that you hurt sometimes, not letting yourself cry, can really fuck things up for a person. I've done it. I've tried that, and I ended up numb and broken. It's taking me a veerrrry long time to fix it. No one should have to feel like that. Ever. EVER.

This ^ part hit me too, not because I can relate to all of those, but because I...

This is going to sound very strange, but please bare with me.

I find it very easy to see people, like.. really see who they are at their core. It's in their facial structure somewhat... but.. not exactly. It makes people watching really fun. I'll look at the faces of the people as their passing, and it's like.. in that instance I can see something essential about them. Whether their kind hearted, or introverted, or extroverted...
It's like looking at someone's soul through a crack in the wall. Some people are just.. so bright! I don't literally mean they have light, but their essential self shines with their compassion and it's beautiful. This is why I have the faith in humans that I do. I don't know if this is something that everyone does. I don't even know what it is, or what I'm sensing exactly.. I just know that usually I'm right. This extends over the internet somewhat. People are way easier to see in person, and it really helps to see their face.

This being said, reading the list of things you could relate to... I just.. I don't know. For a brief moment, I got a sense of you and it tugged on that part of me that feels like it's my responsibility to save the world. Don't think I'm a creeper, please, but know that you are loved.

I can relate to most of this, and could add on a shit ton more without even trying.
