When will people learn that making a farewell thread in Spam is retarded?

If you're going to leave, get to stepping. Making a thread announcing your departure is stupid for (at least) two reasons.

One, it shows that you have some attachment to the place and thus aren't very likely to actually remain gone permanently. Have you seen how many times people have made "I'm leaving forever" threads and then came back? That's because they're too attached to the fucking place to actually leave for long. How many people have disappeared without a word never to be seen again? Definitely far more than the number of people who've made stupid threads like this and actually stayed gone. If you can't manage to stroll the fuck out of the place without a word you're probably going to be coming back again later after you get bored with whatever else you choose to waste your free time on for a while.

Two, it assumes people give a fuck about your intended absence. Not just that any people at all care (which is questionable in and of itself), but that the whole of Spam gives fucks about you such that they require a public notice of your departure. This is utterly foolish. Notice how most responses are either "lolsure, you'll be back soon" or things ranging from neutral to negative. People don't give a fuck about your intentions to leave Spam, so why bother making a thread about it?

Seriously people, if you're going to leave then just fucking do it. Trooper here already fucked up. You don't want to be like Trooper, do you? If you're gonna go, leave Spam with grace and silence rather than public stupidity. It'll be better for everyone that way.
