Normally he's one of the two guardians of Malana, along with Surma, whom together make sure the dead stay in, and the living stay out.

Well, to be fair, you'd have to first as a normal mortal, travel to the arctic circle, find the realm of Louhi, the Ice Witch and Goddess of Frost, Pohjola, find the massive mountains, and then manage to swim through the underwater caverns of the icy supernatural domain, WHILE avoiding Iku-Turso and his minions, and the sunken kingdom of Ahti and Vellamo, before emerging in an underground swamp where Surma swims about, that's also home to the dozen plus different plague Goddesses, before you finally could reach the retirement home of the dead. If you want to get to the more sacred areas, you'll have to cross the great river of fire that separates you from the sacred grove, and the swirling vortex of souls that sits in its middle.


So it's MORE than just those two.

Here, check this thread out. It's the old Scion thread for the campaign Elendra was doing before this one. Scroll down past the character creation stuff and look for the hider that says Battle Example, that tells you how fights go. Everything else is just roleplaying with occasional dice rolls to determine whether or not actions are successful.

If you're at all familiar with the way D&D works, it's basically that with only rolling a number of 10 sided dice for actions rather than a variety of dice types and the character creation/powers stuff is rather different.
