    Ads inside my text

    Issue is solved

Within the first post of every page there are something like 4-5 "links" to advertisements. At first I assumed this was a virus or ad-ware, but after running a string of programs, it still persists. Is this something new on the forum or is it a bug?

Thing is, they aren't put in there by someone, they just show up no matter who put up the first post.

Weird, I thought Mahz said the ads were turned off.

Wait, think I found the issue, some how an add extension was added to my browser. Goes to show you should always read be fore you click "yes".

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

How did you fix it? x) I have the same issue on my browser. However, it happens on other sites as well.

That is really weird that this is happening. O_o How does that even happen? I mean, I remember way-back-when RPGuild would have ads inside posts when you're online as a guest... but that was before we lost adsense, obviously, so....

I think it is something on my computer/browser. It happens to me everywhere on the internet, not just on RPG.

Sounds weird, and annoying. There's gotta be a way to disable that.

Hate to burst the bubble of this being the site's problem, but I know exactly what this is. The issue is not within the site, but the person's browser. This meaning that whatever browser Commander Kalic is using is probably undergoing attacks from spyware. It has happened to me before, and well yeah, that's what is happening.

If it should be a problem with the site, then I sure am not experiencing such a problem.
