PLAYGROUND - A Horror Story

For any of you who have watched any of the Saw movies, this RP is meant to be very much like that. (With a twist.)
Ah, yes. There is always a twist isn't there?

I don't plan on running this like a normal RP. The IC thread, should anyone be interested, will consist mainly of MY (the GM) posts.
Have you ever read those "choose your adventure" books where if you want to run away from the scary house you jump to page 67 but if you want to walk inside turn the page?

That's how this is going to work.
I'll give you an example.


Myrna rubbed her eyes as she awakened in a room void of light, save for a static filled telvision humming along the far wall. She struggled to lift herself from the floor, coughing hard from a sharp pain on her upper left and simultaneously felt a feathery feeling at the back of her throat. It was familiar and felt like...yarn? Where the hell was she? What the hell happened? Before she let her thoughts get too carried away, she shook her head and...

This is where you, the player, will be given a set of options of which you may discuss with other players in the OOC thread. Once a decision is made, you may either make it known in the OOC or PM it to me. In this case let's say your options are;

• Pull the yarn out from mouth
• Inspect your side
• Walk to tv on other side of room

And for the sake of the example, you choose to Inspect your side. My next post would be along the lines of;

Before she let her thoughts get too carried away, she shook her head and...rolled up her shirt, running her fingers over her side. It was war and sticky, the distinct smell of copper filling her nostrils. Blood. She was bleeding. It was fresh. And stitched?? She narrowed her eyes in the dark stepping once in the telvisions direction to get a better look. She gagged at the sight. Whoever had done the stitching had no medical license, much less ever sewn, well, ANYTHING in their entire life. She covered her mouth as the yarn helped produce another hard cough, this time accompanied by a spatter of blood.

Congratulations! Your choice did not kill you. Now, you will be presented with the remaining two options;

• Pull the yarn out from your mouth
• Walk to the tv on other side of room

Some choices WILL get you killed. Others will provide filler or information. To objective is to survive as long as possible.

So that's my idea. I will be custom making each "trap" per character so, it may take me a bit to post for some people. I will keep those people updated through PM or other messaging option.
