Name: Irene Krause

Appearance: She is an extremely intense woman and no amount of armor can hide this. She has very defined Roman features, piercing grey eyes, short black hair and a strong but lithe build. She holds herself very confidently though her 5'7'' height is really nothing to boast about. Her movements are very planned and decisive, and though she is not bulky in stature, she can be quite imposing.
Accessories: She carries traditional dog tags around her neck and in her boot. Additionally she wears a locket around her neck with a pressed flower inside to remind her of the surface.
History: She came from a strictly military family who encouraged her to either do this or join the force. However, given her father's cold disposition and her mothers similar attitude, she was not eager to be a part of the military and developed more different views. As a compromise she agreed to study medicine to become a Combat Medic. Many things have weighed her down over the years, including her older brother's suicide as a result of Post Traumatic Stress after being involved in a war, her younger sister's thoughtless dependence on men who take advantage of her insecurity, and her father's reliance on powerful pain medication to forget his own war years. Additionally, given the high stress family environment, her parents's marriage has dissolved into an extended battlefield. However, this caused her to immerse herself in her studies and she has turned out extremely successful.
Why they joined the Special Forces and what have they done to distinguish themselves: She joined the Special Forces initially to pay off medical school by doing time in the armed forces. However, she found a niche there and after many successful field missions and an impressive show of improvisational skill and medical expertise she found a steady career. However, she became interested in more advanced missions and undertook Advanced Individual Training in preparation for the current mission.
Personality: Because she was exposed to violence at a young age she is initially very stoic. She is very tough and goal-oriented and has a macabre and sarcastic sense of humor. She can be quite trigger happy and uses this to take out her anger. If it comes down to it, she will choose justice over mercy. She is very intelligent but she is not a natural leader and prefers to manage herself and let others be. She rarely laughs and there are times where she falls silent for extended periods of time. Though she can control her emotions well, she can snap very unexpectedly when too much stress has accumulated. Though she is outwardly cold and harsh, she can warm up to people once she's comfortable and can prove to be very loyal.
