How to train your dragon - Dragon Academy

Hey there. Currently I'm watching the series 'riders of Berk'.
For those who know the book or movie How to train your dragon, the series take place after the movie or the first book.

I'm thinking about a roleplay that takes place about twenty years from where the characters are now.
Our characters will be non-cannon characters of which most will be in the dragon academy.
Some of you will have their own dragon. Some will have to find one still.

For those who don't know about the story:
There is a little viking village on the island Berk. For over threehundred years the vikings fought the dragons that inhabited the island. Until one day the chiefs son, found out that the dragons are not evil themselves, but where under control of a greater dragon. When the greater dragon was slain, it was possible to make peace with the dragons and the village found the struggles to live together peacefully with the dragons worth their while. Now there are dragon riders in the village. And there is even a dragon academy.

So that is where our story starts. I'm still thinking out the roles of the aged canon characters. But I think that will work out nicely.

Just a couple of questions =P What are our dragon options? XD I can honestly say almost everything in the series but night furies looks bloody goofy in some way XD Granted I would love to use one =P If that's not possible I can always make other choices XD As well, can we 'design our own dragon'? XD since canonically they still discover new species XD I figured i'd see if that's an option =P

So true. Just so true. I mean the Gronckles freak me out. HOW DO THEY EVEN FLYYY? They've got big bodes and little wings!

They flap really really fast, and as demonstrated in the show, they do NOT fly very well XD

I actually like the night-fury for more than just being the most acceptably non-goofy dragon in the show so far XD Despite being 'considered' the most dangerous, It's really quite balanced out >.> just happens to have been something they never knew how to deal with, really he's just very fast and can use his speed to advantage for his firepower, but he's not all that durable, as dragons go at least, XD

This seems interesting, but to be honest I would only really join if we could create dragons. That is not because I want to create an OP dragon, it is simple because I have an old dragon sketch that I have not yet found a purpose for, and I like the movie and show.
