Hello! This is my second arena battle but I've never done 1v1 with hand to hand. This would be a tier 1 (regular human) fight, but they can be proficient one fighting style. I'd like this to be a fairly even fight, all arena rules apply (no godmodding, deus ex machinas, overpowered attacks or defenses) and I'd like this to be fairly realistic. We can discuss and "map" out the terrain. If you're interested, awesome!
I'm definitely interested. Just one question, are weapons allowed? I'd prefer just an unarmed melee, because if there are weapons, it adds another level of complexity I'd rather not deal with in a real situation. My character is a drunken style fighter who employs the use of many different fighting styles in small amounts.
I was thinking it would be no weapons, in a situation where there would be nothing in the environment to wield as a weapon, maybe a parking garage? I would be using modified Muy Thai.
Lol cool sounds awesome. So my character is of average height and build, nothing really special but he does have a small scar through his left eyebrow. He likes friendly spars, and always holds back unless a weapon comes into play, in which case, he starts breaking bones.
Do you have a description/CS for him? I can make one in a bit.

skills: extensive study of martial arts and the human body allows for quick attacks to nerve clusters and weak spots of the human body
Will not use deadly or maiming force unless someone else's life is in danger. (in cases of danger to his own life, he would only disable or disarm his opponent)
Zephyr is an ordinary high school senior of asian descent. He has brown eyes, black hair, an average, unassuming, average build, and is 5'9". He often wears baggy clothing or layers of sweaters and/or coats. He is very friendly, but doesn't shy away from a fight or a challenge to spar. Zephyr is very outgoing and loves to make new friends, and is extremely loyal. In one instance, he even ran into a gang of 5 people to pull his friend out and stayed behind to slow them. He was held down and beaten, taking the hits to give his friend time to get away. His biggest fault is his value of others over himself.

Appearance: 5"11" 150 ib. Marcus is taught and wiry, He has blond shorn hair and ruddy skin. His eyes are pale green and his face is jagged and triangular. He usually wears a dirty tank top under a ragged army jacket. His jeans are faded and torn at the knees. His shoes are a white pair of sneakers, crusted with years of use.
Personality/History: Marcus is prone to violence, and he has been to Juvenile detention for three counts of burglary and one count of aggravated assault. He's trying to be more careful since he can now be tried as an adult, but his history of living in a poor and uneducated family always comes back to him.
