Let's say instead of being overweight, the person in question is pregnant. It's a healthy pregnancy with no detectable problems, from a consensual coupling. The insurance and/or government program WOULD cover all normal pregnancy-related medical expenses; however, INSTEAD, the person in question has elected to get an abortion.
Should the government and/or health insurance policy cover the voluntary/elective abortion of an otherwise healthy fetus?
