So, I was browsing me some of that there anime, trying to find something new to watch, when I noticed One Piece in the New Episode tab on the site.
575 episodes to date.
I found myself wondering just how long it would take to watch all of those episodes, so, totally uncharacteristically, I did math.
So, after all the math, there is about 52 weeks and a day in a single, non-leap year.
If you began watching two episodes of One Piece every day on January first, (maybe watching the movies on the weekends with the two episodes, idk), that would add up to 14 episodes a week.
575 episodes now, so 575/14=41.1 (rounded from 41.07)
Therefore, to be all caught up with the series today, you'd have to watch two episodes for the next 41 or so weeks. That adds up to 287-288 days.
If there was a new episode released each week from January to December (I know it's unlikely, but this is an estimate), that'd be about another 50-52, taking about 4 more weeks by the two-per-day method.
So, by my estimation, if I did my math right, and there's a chance I didn't, then it would take you until nearly mid-December to watch each episode of One Piece two-a-day.
It would take you nearly two years to watch this series if you watched a single episode a day.
That shit is fucking ridiculous.

Alternatively, if you're like me and marathon watch shows you want to catch up on (meaning 8+ hours of watching daily) it would take less than a month to watch them all.
Fuck that two episodes a day nonsense.
But it's also One Piece, so no thanks.
