Camp Half-Blood - The Golden Fleece [IC]

OOC, accepting demi-gods until i have all the gods taken (there are some exceptions for some gods though), and then I will be accepting nymphs, satyrs, centaurs, etc.

It has been many years since Percy Jackson defeated the Titan Lord Kronos. All has been well for the twenty years since Percy left Camp Half-Blood and forged out his own path in the world. The camp has continued to train demigods and nothing has gone wrong, save for the occasional camp fights of course. Campers have been sent to the infirmary for injuries, but no one has turned traitor against the Gods of Olympus because some old Titan got into their mind. Olympus has been unnaturally silent as well. The gods have not been fighting amongst each other as they usually do. A few spats have errupted here and there, but nothing major like the time when Zeus's master bolt was stolen. The pact between the Big Three is still technically in place, but none of the brothers have adhered to it. No one seems to care, though. All is at peace.

Well, that is until the Golden Fleece begins to fail. No one knows why, or how, but the thing that once saved the camp is beginning to let it down. All sorts of monsters have been getting past the weakend boundaries and wreaking havoc on the camp. There were not fatalities (unless you count the monsters) for the first few months and the camp was resting easy, thinking that they could hold their own.


''Great'' Anabelle muttered to herself as she looked around. Her things were scattered all around. ''And it has to be a Monday above it all. I don't have time for this'' She quickly stuffed all her weapons below the bed and ran her hands through he long, silky hair, looking around once more, now smiling a little. ''Much better'' She Closed her cabins door as she stepped outside. It was summer and more campers were arriving around this season. At the ends of April, she had felt something strange, something with the Golden Fleece was wrong. She had walked around it some times to see what was wrong. She didn't notice anything strange, only that it was a fainter golden colour than before. She shrugged and began walking around, not really looking to where she was headed. Maybe I should ask Chiron She thought to herself. Suddenly, she felt her body slam against another and she tripped backwards.

Chantelle was staring out of her dorm window as the day dawned, the clouds of people walking around amused her enough. But after a while, boredo consumed her and a sigh escaped her lips as she sprayed her neck with perfume. The day was bright so by instinct, she checked herself and her attire before literally skipping out of her dorm. Many stared at her in awe as she walked by, watching her with desire filled eyes. It was evident she was a demi god of Aphrodite, her beauty and charm was enough to make anyone fall in love.

The son of Ares was up early, getting some fighting in before the day started. He was inside the arena, his longsword in hand, a half brother across from him. He had his left side turned towards his opponent. He watched him, easily blocking a slice at his abdomen. He brought his right fist around, slamming it into the exposed side. His opponent stumbled to the side, in a desperate attempt to keep his footing. Adrian smirked, flicking the sword in his hand down and slamming the flat blade into his ankle, causing him to further lose his balance, the kid forgetting offense. He grinned and slammed his palm into his chest, causing him to then fall to the ground. He sneared kicking the sword out of his grasp, the edge of his sword pressed against his neck softly. He said, voice rough," dead." He stepped back, sliding his sword into the scabbard and spat," you have no right to be a son of Ares."

A voice rang out from across the arena," a little cruel there Adrian." He snorted," shut your mouth, I could have you on your back in less then a second, you a much of a wimp as he is." He turned his head to look at the blond satyr. His "protecter". More like he protects him. The satyr walked over the ground towards him," you know, you could at least try to be nice to people." The arrogant son of Ares annoyed the hell out of him, but he couldn't just refuse to watch after him. Adrian replied," and you could be less annoying." Jake snorted. He shook his head as Adrian just left. They were at camp. He might as well let him be for a moment.

Adrian was walking, his eyes staring ahead. To people, his right eye could be unnerving. It still moved like his other eye, but it was clouded. People ask why he never got something to hide it. Why hide a battle scar? That was when he felt someone walk into his right side. He took a small step before spinning on his left foot, looking down at who ran into him. Ugh. Anabelle. Another person he didn't like.

Kage rose out of bed and started to prepare himself for the capture the flag battle today. "I'd better warm up a bit first" Kage put on his shoes and started to head out for a jog around the camp, He lived in a close hut to chantelle and as she strutted with her fine strut kage had no chance to not stop and look.

Joshua sat on a rock, facing the tree where the Fleece hung. His golden eyes were focused on the golden length of wool, studying it. For a second, it seemed to brighten slightly, but it quickly faded back to its original state. He frowned and looked away. For weeks he had been attempting to rid the artifact of whatever it was that ailed it, with no success. And he could tell from its aura that it was growing weaker as time passed. The thought worried him.

He looked up at the sky and muttered "Maybe if I knew what was wrong with the Fleece, I could do something!" As usual, there was no reply. He sighed and stood up, heading back towards the Hecate cabin to get ready for classes.

Kage continued his run and acidentally stumbled on a shield that was left on the floor, Being a demi-god of Aries, Kage became furious and embaressed. he cursed at the shield stomped on it breaking it in half and than picked it up and threw it far into the woods. Kage had a bad tempure, and was even worse when it came to his prid ebeing challeneged. He remained quietly mostly but once a challenge was thrown at him he took it up with great ferocity. He was one of the best ganutlet and sword weilders in the camp which make him a asset in the battle challenges. He was about 6 feet tall and weight about 198lbs about 5% body fat. He was not a wimp nor was he expected to be. As he finished his tantrum he continued to run and saw Joshua.

"Hey pal, How you doing?" *He noticed the sadness in joshuas face.*

Stephanie woke up and looked around the empty cabin. She Sighed and got up and put on a camp half blood shirt that she had dyed black. She put on gray jeans and black cargo boots. She put on her necklace brushed her hair out straightening it then pulled it back into a ponytail some of her shorter layers Fell into her face like bangs. Her gray eyes looked even darker with the silver eyeshadow and small amount of black eyeliner and mascara. She walked out of her cabin emotionlessly. Her sword was sheathed on her back.

Anabelle looked up at Adrien and bit her lip nervously. ''I'm sorry'' She mumbled and smiled apologetically. She dusted off her shorts and tank top. ''I wasn't looking ahead'' She looked behind him towards the Big House.
