Josh was walking through a dense forest, holding onto his daughters hand "daddy where are we going?" she asked "were going to find uncle James sweetie". The power just went out he could remember it like it was yesterday they were in the middle of dinner and everything shut off Trish started crying. He walked her thought the dense woods hoping the rumors about slenderman were not true he sighed as he stopped for rest, him pulling his daughter in a cart a sound in the woods a gun shot.

FIFTEEN YEARS LATER



i woke up with a start, i was in the woods next to my daughter Trish my breathing was heavy "what i dream..." i said queitly.

Samantha was six when the black out happened and she wasn't going to let her young age stop her from keeping the United States alive. She was a Rebel Operative so she did her missions solo, and this one happened to be scouting a Militia camp, she was ordered to find the the ammo stash and bring it back by any means necessary. She sat hidden in a bush with her short sword out and ready for any guard that happened to stroll on her path.

Diana left the house...with her only an old pocket knife and the clothes on her back. Her mom and dad hadn't returned, she was a bit scared.
I wonder where they went? she thought to herself... I think they headed down that path...
She turned right and within fifteen minutes was completely lost...
She sat down and started to cry. She was only nine after all.
She was so distraught that she didn't even hear the sound of approaching footsteps...
