I figured vaguely to the south is perfect. If we allow a bit of distance, it'll stop it from becoming too confusing. Technically, the nearest part of campus to their Camp might be the Organic Farm, making it vulnerable to being hit first and hard.
And I feel like once we deal with Washington it'd be great to follow the ripples out wherever they may lead. If that means the midwest, so be it.

I have returned everyone! I have lots of catching up to do, but I shall put a post out today.
Aweena's got plans to drift more towards the majority of the group, so don't worry about little old me. The next post(s?) will open Winifred & Co. up to travelling.
But please, if you all want a massive slaughter-fest in my honor, I will not disagree.
I always wanted Emperor to be the long-running, persistent antagonist. So I hope the "ripples of Washington" (epic band name) don't die down in a long while.
Welcome back, howler. Glad to see you're still here. I'll be taking you off of the 1-week suspension list thingy, then. I think I'm going to be adding DungeonMaster, though. He WAS here, but he seems to have disappeared. To DungeonMaster: If this is because of school or something, I understand. Next time you get on, just pm me saying you want your character put into stasis and I shall do so. I just need some contact to prove that you're still alive first :P

@ Aweena: I hope he/his ideals don't just disappear. My favorite thing is that Emperor is just one major figure in this world. Prome introduced a military body that, in my mind, is much deadlier, stealthier, and without remorse than he is. Maybe we'll see them soon too huh?
People near Washington: Prome, Free Fall, and myself have been communicating a lot about this area. Craftwork, we haven't spoken yet, but I know you're here with us as well now. Basically, we're trying to make it so Prome is able to do his thing and get in before the attack. In speaking with Prome I realized that Evergreen Haven is quickly turning into a black-hole of sorts. Pretty soon anyone nearby won't have the choice to leave or stay, to fight or flee -- it'll just be who, if anyone, you're fighting for. Keep that in mind. This is a great opportunity to be real about your character and if they're willing to put their life on the line for one side or another. As far as I'm aware, none of us have some huge mastermind plan for Evergreen. Yes, Legion is beginning action. But we don't really know who's going to win or what parts our characters will play. Exciting right? Be creative and know that what you want to do can have some long-lasting impact here. I hope that's inspiring to you all.
Washington Update:
- Legion is beginning their attack with squads to soften the Haven Defense, not an all out Siege
- The Siege will come, but not until we all are ready.
- If you're near Evergreen, shit is getting hot. Firefights are spreading. No matter who you are, you'll be involved.
- Legion Squads are surruonding the Evergreen Defensive walls. If you're in Evergreen, you're not getting out. You might get in, but you're in for a bumpy ride.
Some of this will be defined in my next post. I know many of us are in or approaching Washington, so I just wanted to make sure we all could see where we are. Many of us are working via PM and I hope that doesn't make it confusing for others.

No one in Washington minds if I throw my sniper into your Haven? If you do, let me know and I'll throw him elsewhere. I can throw him towards those that aren't there, too. he is completely open at this point.
I'd suggest PMing Shon and/or Free Faller with your ideas of what you want to do. Shon's the big kahuna up there right now, so it's really up to him.
In other news, the novel length post returns! I think you guys'll like it. Lots of intense scenes.

I caught your message when I thought I'd finished my post. If you want into Washington as a sniper, I wrote in a spot where you'd immediately contact Simon-Pietro. If you want it, shoot me a PM and take it. If not, the nameless sniper will simply remain such in my next post. Your choice either way. Do know that Washington is rupturing right now. Everyone there is pretty much experiencing some character defining situations where, more often than not, their lives are being threatened. It's a war-zone that has no predetermined end in mind, so I hope you don't mind a lot of danger! It's challenge by choice obviously. Prome is really kind calling me 'big kahuna', but I just live here in reality and have a lot of ideas. You're free to do and add challenges as you please like anyone else.
