I read World War Z last week and I love your setting. If there's still room, I'd really like to play. (Though I probably won't be able to get a CS up until my next day off, which is Monday.)

We'd love to have you! The Inter Check bump did say one or two more and I'm sure that our GM would not have a problem with reading more than one proposed application. So, i say throw up a sheet and see what happens...

Oh, you just read that book? It was great, wasn't it? I'm worried about how the movie version will turn out. The movie is never as good as the book. And don't worry about taking until Monday; we're not a very fast-moving RP.

But, as a piece of helpful advice (I used to be GM, and then I let Prometheus "borrow" the RP because he wouldn't stop begging - so I'm allowed to sometimes take on the role of GM if I feel like it), read over the other CS's to make sure your character will be completely original. We're extremely picky - sometimes to the point of irrationality. But I imagine someone with "veteran status" doesn't need to know that, huh? Veterans...

@ Aweena: Yeah, the book was awesome. I honestly have no idea what the movie is going to be like, I imagine they've had to change it a lot from the original book to make it a decent movie to watch. I just know that there will be Brad Pitt and zombies, and I'll be happy happy happy.

I was just joking about my veteran thing, but I did read the existing character sheets and the last few IC posts, as well as all the info about all the havens, communities, the beastiary and so forth. Standard practice for me when joining a RP. The gal I've got in mind isn't like anyone I've seen so far. C: I should have her up tomorrow for everyone's review.

Prome, I started my post last night and obviously didn't finish it. Started with Simon taking Joshua's watch, giving it to Acacia, and giving them a time to check in. Also spoke to the radio being a potential tool right now, since Evergreen has probably changed channels since 1077th took over. My idea is that my post shouldn't actually change yours at all. The time limit I'd said, roughly, was an hour. But reading your post, I saw something like 2-3 hours passing. I can change the time limit to something like 4? It seems like they're winding down. That sound chill?

Probably have a post up by tomorrow morning. I'm actually drafting a series from a short story I wrote, and have to get the sketches laid out to move to something final this week. Bit busy, but you'll see the post!

Was there a time limit? I apologize, I completely disregarded it. I used was a completely arbitrary number; I can cut down my time, if you want. I was just trying to get us into the midmorning period, as it was dark when you picked us up initially, and maybe an hour had passed between then and us stopping at the mall, putting us at 6:30-7:00, optimistically? Then we spend a little time in the mall, and that turns to 9:00 or 10:00, late enough that the sun's high up. All that being said, this is stuff I just thought of, so I can cut down the time pretty easily if you want me to.

As for Acacia being with you guys, what, exactly did you have in mind? I've sent her off with Cass to find us another car, and unless I'm mistaken that is going to be part of FF's next post. I'm sorry, I've been under the misimpression that you went to find gasoline and scavenge some surrounding stores, and Frost and Gunner were the thumb-twiddlers that were left at the truck. I don't want you to rewrite the entire thing, but I haven't seen the post, so I can't suggest anything.

You do not fuck with space-time. On a side note, I'm super excited that the RP got some fresh meat; It's always the tastiest...

Oh no, all I meant is that before the group actually walks off (which you didn't detail much, so my post still works), Simon tosses her a watch. I'm not sure if Daryl or Cass have one, but Joshua would as a member of Military Defense, and so would Simon. It is like Simon saying, let's have all our teams be on the same page. I like the idea of pushing to the nearly noon hours, I'll change mine to something like 4-5 hours. My post is pretty concurrent to yours, I thought Simon was looking for whatever supplies and food in the nearby places as well. Which is exactly what he's doing in my post so far. The only thing I was mentioning was the time, and that Acacia, with my post, will have had the watch the entire time. Shouldn't make your post any different.
